RENTERS BE AWARE, they don't care about your experience. I recently used Yescapa for a vehicle rental in Maderia, Portugal (visiting from Canada) and the experience left me extremely disappointed. I feel obligated to share my experience to warn future renters about the lack of renter protection and high service fees, which appear to favor vehicle owners. Now I'm 450 euros out of pocket for a stressful experience.

The app is nice, and everything easy to do the rental, but in case something goes south, I found it very difficult to reach them. Only an email as . No phone numbers, emergency lines, chat online, nothing. Luckily my rental went well and I didn't need it, but it might be different experience for other customers.

Search does not work at all. You choose area, period and expect that the vehicles listed will be actually available and 99% of them are not 😵. Price/people filter seems also not to be working. The same applies for web version. It also list vehicles which are not available for booking because they don't have their paperwork. That only ads to the confusion. So at the and I have spent hours checking manually the listings to find something. That was a task which should take seconds /minutes.

App starts but screen is white. Updated to last version, app works for 1 moment but then screen gets full white again. No further action possible. Anyone with same issue?

It works. The contracts (check in and checkout) are getting more confuse and difficult to use.

We have booked Pedro's van for 10 days. Everything went smoothly, he explained to us everything that we need to know, very pleasant guy, we recommend the van 100%, you have everything that you need, good fridge and simple kitchen :)
