An excellent brower. The good: 1) smoothest scrolling compared to other Chromium based browsers; 2) it has 2nd best dark mode rendering in all the browsers and extentions I've tried, soothing to the eyes and nearly prob free (the best to my taste is Samsung Internet which almost never has rendering or contrast issue) 3) it has extension ; 4) privacy friendly. The bad: its updating pace seems a bit slow. Keep up the good work!

The features are good and I appreciate the ad blocking function. However like most chromium based browser with ad blockers, Google assistant seemed to be not working on top of the browser. If you press hold the android home button or say ok Google while the browser is opened, the Google Assistant UI will not show up, although you can still say out the command and it will still respond Edit: Still doesn't work for me. I am using Android Pie on Pixel 2 XL if that helps

When I tap on the icon to launch it, it'll show the browser for a moment and then just crash as if I exited it. It does this dozens of times when I try to open it until it stays opened in a "preview page" or something. What's going on? I also turned off all extensions to make sure, but it's the same no matter what. I cleared cache as well. Same problem.

Super awesome browser. I install it purely for the feature of having the address bar at the bottom. Good chrome replacement. However. If we can have an option to "always show address bar" this will make the Brower even more awesome. Thank for the hard work developer. 👍 2020 Sep 27 Added another feature. On a tablet. Love the little details such as the feature of long pressing on tab button to open new tabs etc. It is also super snappy. Will be perfect if there's one-click alternate search engines alike the one in firefox to choose between different search engines easily, and also the option to access our own default apps such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook from inside the browser.

Best. browser. ever. I've tried tons of other browsers & nothing comes close to the combination of speed & functionality of Kiwi. The ability to use Chrome add-ons/extensions is super useful to block ads & to optimize your web experience. Power s will love it. I have hundreds of tabs open & that doesn't cause any serious issues. I've been a diehard Firefox for decades but I have to say that Kiwi is superior. 🏆

The single best Chrome alternative on Android, Kiwi gets 5 stars by having no actual competition and by Google being a massive slacker and not giving Android s extensions on Chrome (which is the original reason i came to Kiwi). Kiwi has extensions, a built-in adblocker, and a lot of customization. One problem, however, is that you cannot transfer settings or data between devices, so make sure to your s!

Edit 2: the updates are back to being slow, much slower than ever before :/ It s all chrome extensions. Or at least, it allows you to install them all and while some might not work 99% of them do. That's such a valuable and unique feature that any other downside is completely irrelevant. One of them is that updates are a bit slow and you might need to do a periodic tab cleaning after an update but hey, extensions.
