This app is great for keeping in touch with my friends in a way that's more intimate than texting & I pay for it for the extra features. However, I have an ongoing issue where if I need to pause a video for any reason to look at something else on my phone, when I come back the video will not unfreeze. When I press play, the image doesn't continue and there's no sound. I have to fully close the app and fully reopen the app for it to start playing again.

I love this app to connect with family & friends. I definitely prefer talking in person, on the phone, or using other apps to video call. It's difficult to keep conversations relevant when it's not a real-time conversation. Going back to old conversations, you forget what was said. I take notes on what was said so I can reply up to date. My kids don't understand that the videos aren't in real time. They both love the special effects but want to hear their voice change while recording.

This app is AMAZING for those of us with autism! We struggle with transitioning between things, and when speaking we struggle with tone, cadence, and confusing the listener with too much detail or complexity. Live conversations then become difficult to keep up with because we're constantly switching between delayed processing and vocalizing our responses. This app provides a great solution to that by allowing us to take our time to listen and process a response!

First off, I love this app. It helps my family and I stay connected in a meaningful way. Secondly, a little criticism, PLEASE REMOVE THE "Privacy mode ON" FUNCTION!!! Or at least create a setting that would allow the to turn it off. It constantly turns on without me wanting it to. And I never need it anyway. If I want privacy, I use my ear buds. Thanks for creating a good product and keep up the good work.

I used this app a few years back and had some issues with s and the privacy of it all....thinking about this app today, you have to pay monthly for it now?! That's insane. You can have many other live messaging and video apps for free... But this one where you're basically playing video tag you have to pay for? Ridiculous. I loved the concept of the app, but definitely don't think it's worth paying even $5 for it monthly.

There has been a bug for many months now where if I have a polo playing in the background, it will glitch and pause the video until I'm back in the app. If I go to another app after that, it will play in the background for about a min but then glitch and MUTE the polo- so the Polo will still be playing, just without sound. I have to kill the app, reopen, and click on the Polo again. Please fix the bug!!

Most recent update has broken a few things. When the screen is off and I'm listening it does not remove the red dot from the tile. So that if I listen to 10 messages and then turn the screen on, I have red dots and they are marked as unheard on the main screen. The only way to make them go away is to go back and individually click on each tile. I can't even click on the most recent tile to make the other ones go away. This negates a lot of me efficiency gained from listening w the screen off.

Overall, it is a great app for asynchronous communication but it is super glitchy in the free version. If I press pause because it is a longer polo and need to split up listening time, it will start at the VERY beginning when I come back. And so I often have to relisten to polos multiple times from the start just to get to the end. It is extremely annoying since you can only fast-forward with the plus version. I feel like free is glitchy on purpose to make you want to upgrade.
