The official rideshare app of Greater Des Moines’ transit system. Provides on-demand microtransit bus service within local zones. Operated by DART.DART On Demand, operated by Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority, allows you to schedule pickups in advance or book rides in real-time from locations within the boundaries of your micro-transit DART On Demand zone.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. the DART On Demand app.
2. Create your (includes name, phone, address, and ride preferences).
3. Confirm your current location and select your destination.
The app will plan your trip for you and let you know WHERE and WHEN to meet your ride. Once a ride is confirmed, you’ll be able to TRACK YOUR VEHICLE IN REAL-TIME using the app. Trips can be scheduled up to a week in advance.
Once booked, you can pay for your ride through the DART On Demand app, use es purchased through the separate myDART app (available on this app store), DART bus card, DART tokens, or exact change.

This is really an excellent service. I recently moved to USA from India and using cabs for my need. Later I came to know about this service and started using. Really an awesome service !!!. Within the area scope, they pickup and drop to our destination in a very affordable cost. The App is excellent that comes with an navigation & tracking system. Staffs are very friendly. Without a second thought, I can give a 5-star rating for this.

If you don't have a lot of cash to spend I'd suggest this instead of uber. 1.75$ for one person. 3.50 for two. Air-conditioning, on bus free wifi, wheelchair accessible. Most rides are 1.75 depending on distance I believe. Never went past 3 miles so I wouldn't know more prices. But overall, awesomeness. I never liked buses before I rode a dart bus.

Every time I want to go somewhere it's says your billing issue does not seems to be working. Although I pay for it everytime.I give the money online so I think it's better if I just give the money in real life?

I love this service. You schedule your ride and they pick you up at your home and take you wherever you need to go. And they will come back and take you home. Drivers are really friendly and helpful. Best thing ever to happen for Ankeny.
