Problems: 1.Doesn't display anything on the camera device while recording. Blank and unchanging. I want people to know they are being recorded (as on Alfred Camera). 2. Stopped recording things after a while. Don't know why. Poor documentation. 3. Never got notifications although turned on. 4. Apparently all the motion is recorded in one long file (or one per day). I want to see separate motion events and be able to view them. Would need major effort to get it working. #1 is dealbreaker.

Can you please make it where an ad doesn't pop up immediately after you get a notification saying motion detected and you can't check your live feed or recorded video until after you're done watching the ad? Horrible time for an ad and very nerve wracking. But would be cool if you had a split screen to watch front and rear at the same time. I use in a living room window to watch my dad and to check the driveway. Would be incredibly cool not to have two separate phones at once in the same place

It used to be great but now it seems to always freeze and not work at all... I check what's going on in my flat from work and it's offline. even though it's open w battery optimization off or it's showing something from hours ago a month ago this app was working completely fine... Now I turn it on and pointed it at my TV s screen will still live on the other phone and no notification on my other phone... I put it online feed on the camera and it's from hours ago not updating.

While the core feature set is exactly what you would want, it only gets one star. Despite the feature set, the maximum resolution of video recordings are flip phone levels or poor. Even when tested on a 4K 60FPS capable phone, the app maxes out at 720P. That's correct, a potato cam 720P resolution. When I looked into this further, the paid option only gets you 1080P. There's even comments on site requesting higher resolutions as far back as 2019. 5 Years later, and still nothing.

Was great but now with v3.6.2 activating screen lock on the camera makes it impossible to connect to from the viewer. Camera app prevents sleep mode, so camera now has to sit there unlocked and with screen on - insecure, irritating to see and consumes more power. Edit - Thanks for the reply. Camera is now on the old mode and back to running reliably with screen off and locked.

it's been better than the other camera and camera apps. The video quality seem is way better and being able to use both front and rear camera lets you see way more area. I love it and have 4 retired cel phones In use and not in a landfill. I hope this app works for a long time. I'm planing to purchase the when I can fit it financially.

Better than I expected and you already have the cameras. For a simple to use platform that works this is one of the best apps I've added in a long time, because it's free! Definitely going to donate in the near future just for the fact that every app should do the same, let people choose who they feel deserves it!

Best app found in the playstore that helped to configure my old phone as a cctv camera and it has all features like a WiFi camera including 2 way audio, motion detection. Very good app and recommended for all those who want to use an old phone as camera.
