Not a fan of the new update. Although I'm not a big fan of the new layout, it's not bad. But it can't get the status right. It incorrectly shows my door as unlocked on the main page of the app, although it does know that the lock is unneeded locked when looking at the lock history. It's very frustrating having display as unlocked so I always feel the need to check the door.

I have 4 Schlage smart locks. They work pretty well, but I do have a small issue with one not keeping it's connection to wifi, even though it is about 20 feet from the wifi access point. We use two of the encoder locks to integrate with our AirBnb rentals to issue codes to our guests. That feature works pretty well, and we are happy with them. As for the app specifically, it works just fine. There have been a couple updates since I first installed it, and those updates enhance the app.

The interface was just changed, and I really don't like it. The steps to get to anything now require use of the menu on each item ugh, why? The buttons were good. I would recommend going back to what it was, but different. Put each lock in a card about 1/2 the height of the screen with the ability to open it and to see history easier. Also, expand the integrations.

Notifications are very slow. Several minutes after the door is unlocked or locked. That doesn't make us feel very secure. But It was at least easy to see if your for is locked or unlocked in the app. A recent update changed it so that in the app, there is an itsy-bitsy little lock that is either green or blue. We couldn't tell whether that means it is open or locked. At least if it was green and red, that would make sense.

Have had the lock for years and it worked fairly well. Latest update is planned obsoleteness for sure. Very delayed or phantom notifications, constant drop outs/failures with wifi connection, drains batteries 1000x faster. New UI isn't as good either. Please bring back the old version.

Used to work great, but an update causes it to error out. I'm guessing because we integrated our lock with Airbnb. The new version of the app detects this and closes the app as though that is an error. I just found an older version online and installed it and it works fine. I've disabled app updates as well, so now I am allowed to use the app with the lock that I paid for, what a concept! But since they clearly don't want to let the lock you paid for integrate with other systems, avoid it.

Maybe it's just useless to me because I'm not the "owner". There are 2 people here, we both need access. All I was able to do was lock/unlock 2/3 of our locks and only using Bluetooth. If I could at least see what the possible options are and "grey" them out, then I could walk the "owner" through making it usable to the other person living in the house. When I used the Bluetooth to lock/unlock the 2 locks I could, it worked and was easy to pair

overall the app is good, but I liked the old interface better. it had a big lock on the front of the screen when you opened it and showed you whether the door was open or closed. The new smaller icon is not as easy to see. also, for some reason, it never indicates when my batteries are declining, so I'll just go to use the lock one day and it won't work because the battery is dead.
