IDS JMK Poseidon je oficiální aplikací KORDIS JMK, a.s. – koordinátora Integrovaného dopravního systému Jihomoravského kraje, která vám umožní si snadno koupit jízdenku a navíc se dozvědět řadu potřebných informací pro cestování po jižní Moravě.Najděte si aktuální odjezdy z nejbližších zastávek. Stáhněte si platné jízdní řády nebo plány sítě pro off-line prohlížení. Podívejte se na mapu, kde leží nejbližší zastávky a kdy z nich odjíždějí spoje. Vše v jedné aplikaci.
Poseidon je určen především pro ty, kteří mají trvalé připojení k internetu a k cestování veřejnou dopravou po jižní Moravě aspoň občas využívají jednorázové nebo univerzální jízdenky. Prostřednictvím bankovního účtu si na svůj virtuální účet nabijte peníze a kupujte si za ně jízdenky cenově výhodnější než jízdenky na pokladně, v automatu nebo u řidiče. Můžete si uložit oblíbené jízdenky a při příští jízdě jízdenku koupit jen na dvě kliknutí. O své peníze nepřijdete, KORDIS JMK vlastní Jihomoravský kraj a město Brno.
Koupené jízdenky platí ve všech zónách IDS JMK, v městských dopravách, ve vlacích i regionálních autobusech. Jízdenky začínají platit ve vlacích nejdříve 5 minut po zakoupení, v ostatních dopravních prostředcích nejdříve 2 minuty po zakoupení.
Aplikace sama najde potřebné spojení a vyhledá, jakou jízdenku pro danou cestu potřebujete. Stačí pouze vybrat druh jízdného a potvrdit. Jízdenky jsou dvojího druhu – buď vydané pro konkrétní trasu (Moje jízdenky) nebo tzv. Rychlé jízdenky, které jsou vydány jen z konkrétní zóny pro určitý počet zón. Oba druhy stojí stejně.

It works but it is difficult to set up and not friendly at the start. Especially if you are 70+ or you have a prepaid ticket and you want to combine it (to save money) with a ticket bought in the app. No tutorial to help you, you need to dig the info all around and enter everything manually in details. Then (it is not a direct fault of the app) QR codes scanners in buses are very picky reading the codes. You need to find the perfect angle and distance from the scanner, it is so frustrating!

[SEE THE EDIT BELOW] Generally, the app works fine, but one fix is needed: when a train (or whatever) is delayed and you try to buy a ticket for the train at the time of its actual arrival, the app refuses to sell you the ticket with the error that you can't buy a ticket retrospectively (for a past connection). But at the same time, in the connection listing, the app clearly knows about the delay. [EDIT] Raising the rating from 3 to 5 stars after the developer's answer to this review as their answer provided a solution to the problem I had (I'll disregard Czech answer to an English review). It's always great when devs provide helpful answers to reviews.

Was recommended to install this app while visiting Brno, but I cannot figure out the interface (no English language for tourist), even with translator I cannot but ticket with this app. Using the website version in the end. That being said, IDS JMK as an initiative / organization is great, just not this app.

Having the schedules and search here is nice. I would pay money for an English, or even Spanish or Italian translation. The part that surprised me was that the help page is in English, but the app isn't. Even a step-by-step instructions with pictures on the website would be good. Not being able to read Czech, I couldn't figure out how to use this for tickets. A ticket machine at the bus station is much nicer to use than one on the bus, because on the bus, people are waiting for you.

Pros: This app is the great at finding all useful info about commuting as schedules, ticket prices, delays , trip planning etc. Cons: If one wants to use Visa card, they payment gateway won't accept it if the card wasn't issued in US.

1. I payed the ticket but after this it wasn't visible, so in train i buyed other ticket. 2. I choose one connection wich must start in 7 minutes, after payment i recived conformation for other connection (2 hours later). So i didn'r wait plus 2 hours, but i buyed ticket from automat. 3. Was writing price for the ticket 45.5 kc, but when i must pay for ticket was 49 kc.

This app is pure garbage. It looks like someone's school project. Payment via card or bank transfer succeeds on payment gateway but poseidon app returns 503 service unavailable. Total waste of time and money. ... sure,you can excuse it by saying majority is ok with payments or you can start fixing it. suspiciously high number of complains on payments is nothing ??

Design - 0, UI/UX - 0, buy ticket redirected me to gateway and instead of ticket I have money in the virtual wallet. 20CZK in virtual wallet, ticket price is 20CZK but still unable to buy the ticket. 1 star is too generous for this app
