I have been using talkatone for over 2 years and for the most part it works fine. I have issues with some things but I just deal with it. But... the main issue I have is when I'm texting someone and it's a long text, the app just resets. Not only do I lose the text I have to start it ALL OVER again. 500 characters is the limit. It doesn't sound like a lot, but when you lose it and have to re text it, it's A LOT. It's irritating and very much an inconvenience. It happens A LOT! Please fix it.

I am actually pretty happy with this app. I have tried a few and had some pretty awful service, (i.e. ads popping up while trying to make a call or mysterious VPNS keeping me from getting a number) so this one, so far, is at the top of my list. The ads are present but very discreet and the phone calls are clear and without any interference. I'm pretty impressed actually. Thank you Talkatone. This app really helped me in more ways than one. Please keep up the good work!

Connecting...tap to restart connection. This is the message I constantly get when trying to use this app and it's infuriating. It doesn't matter if I have a full, high speed signal on wifi or cellular, I still get that message and cannot call or text until the connection is established. Sometimes it takes a few seconds, sometimes it just doesn't connect and I have to try again later, and that's not good when you are trying to use your number for important calls and texts.

The only thing that socks about Talkatone is if someone needs to text you a code for Any reason it won't go through unless you are a paid member which defeats the purpose it being a free app like it us d as. If we could pay money for our phone it wouldn't be Talkatone , we would pay our phone bills with our providers. Also when making call sometimes it says it's not connected to server to try again later. This could be dangerous if it happens to be an emergency & very aggravating!

I've used this app for AT LEAST 10 years. It was awesome at first but here recently it doesn't notify me of calls or text at all. I have to actually open the app, let it reconnect, then it will allow me to see messages and missed calls. I have already tried the website that the app suggested. I did everything they suggested. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled,changed the settings. I've done everything. I am officially uninstalling the app for good now.

As of today app shows error message and cannot connect to the network. Not working at all. This app is absolute trash And so is technical . Don't expect any help from them. you'll get a generic message that doesn't relate to your problem. The only answer you're going to get is there's something wrong with your Wi-Fi. There's nothing wrong with my Wi-Fi every other app on my phone works perfectly. Or they'll tell you that you need a new device which I have the latest high end Samsung.

This has to be the worst text/ calling app available. I've done the free version and the paid and it doesn't matter. You constantly have to wait for it to " connect to server," which sometimes it never does. While waiting you can't call or text but it has no problem displaying adds. It also randomly signs you out , sometimes in the middle of phone calls , which then drop.

Call quality is good, and outbound calls work well, but inbound calls usually drop before connecting due to the lag between the push notification of a call and the app connecting to answer. Also, about half the text messages I sent were not received by the recipients. I tried to work with , but they only pasted generic responses, some completely unrelated to my issue. When I asked for escalated , they told me to cancel. Not worth the $4 a month I paid for Talkatone plus.
