Has to be one of the least friendly experiences for booking ever. Has you plug in the service needed, the dates, time, and your location. Displays a big list of providers! But you click on the provider and it's either "They are out of range" or "they are fully booked" and then prompts you to "find sitters in your range" or "find sitters with availability" just to give you the same list of unavailable people.

I've used it a few times, and it is very time-consuming to find a sitter. I'm okay sifting through all the listings, but the app lacks critical filter criteria. For example, there should be a filter for the last time sitter updated their calendar. I've sent several boarding requests where the sitter calendar showed as available, but a majority of the replies were "sorry I'm not available." There should also be a way to block some sitters to ensure that they no longer appear in my searches.

Slow, unresponsive. Buggy; I'm a brand new and have already encountered two instances of freezes and a refusal to photos that required me to restart my device entirely. Calendar is obtuse and difficult to use and manage. Push notifications are extremely flaky and sometimes don't pop off at all so make sure you have both text and email notifications active.

They have made vast improvements since the last one I made, which is good. The only complaint I have is that they need to make it easier to cancel last minute in weekly bookings. I find it inconvenient to have to reach out to every time the owner and I have reached in agreement to cancel specific date , not the whole bookin Stuff happens ( illness ,accident ) and feels that rover does not take that in consideration. Modification should not be this difficult

1. Seems like rover does a bait and switch. When I searched before g up it showed me some profiles that were really enticing (lots of great reviews and repeat bookings), but after g up those suddenly disappeared. 2. Booking someone is hard. People don't seem to update their availability and so despite ing 6 or 7 different people they all said they couldn't do it that day at that time. 3. The Android back button doesn't navigate back. Why? Expected and simple design pattern.

The app is questionable quality but gets the job done. Both dog owners and sitters seem to have issues with the app but appreciate that it gives a safe connection between the two. Making calendar changes and editing appointments is confusing, canceling appointments and creating new ones can also be a challenge. Maybe a tutorial would help. I'd like the photos to be higher quality and kept in an album for easier viewing. Also adding videos would be nice as well.

I like Rover as a sitter. It makes it easier for me to make clients. However, ever since they switched to Stripe, my payment can be delayed well past the 48 hours for processing. With PayPal, I was able to get my payment on the weekend or holiday, and now I have to wait after the weekend and/or holiday. It is very frustrating, I do not like the new payment method at all.

This app makes no sense. The first thing I did was block off on my calendar days I wouldn't be in town. When someone booked me (for a recurring appointment), it didn't automatically remove those appointments from the schedule. So then I tried to cancel in advance but you can't even do that, you can literally only cancel the week of. But even when I tried to do that it said I had to keep at least one appointment on the schedule. This needs to be fixed.
