This app's conversation function was amazing, especially in school settings with so many languages in one classroom. I have a friend that speak Egyptian Arabic and it translated the context very well while it also translated to Russian and Spanish and Dutch at the same time. Unfortunately the conversation function no longer works. It's writes it all in English. I saw many complaints from educators with no response from Microsoft. It's super disappointing it's not ed anymore.

Had used the app for some time now and really like it. Unfortunately, lately the translations stopped working. I assumed it would have been resolved by next week, however nothing has changed. Tried using it on different devices with different languages and the result is consistent. What's more, the translated text is still in English but with slight tweaks (like synonyms). Can you fix this please?

The voice detection seems often better than google translate. But the microphone mode is annoying as hell, constantly stopping the translation with "I haven't heard anything", when there is a moment of silence. It breaks the conversation, if you always have to check, if it is still capturing audio. Also, in contrast to google translate, no obvious backlog, and the screen clears all the time. The scrolling display of google translate is much better.

It works really well. I enjoy that the translation is in a larger font than the original. The lists of sentences for vacation are also a nice addition. Unfortunately, there is no way to correct speech to text. If a word is incorrectly interpreted, there is no way to edit that sentence. There is a strict split between text input and speech-to-text input. That is not nice.

This is better app, than the others I've used. However, there's only one small issue. And which is that, I cannot write very long texts. Because, I first have to write a couple of paragraphs, and send them out. I then have to go back to the translator, and finish my message. Also the translator's algorithms aren't translating the German text thoroughly either. So once these issues gets resolved, then I will upgrade the rating to five stars.

ing offline language packs does not work. Very disappointing. I need to be able to use the app when I am travelling and possibly have no connection to WiFi. I've been trying for over aweek to Italian as an offline language. I follow the instructions very carefully, get the circling round and round forever, but nothing s. This is driving me crazy. I really like the app when I have WiFi, but when I am connected I cannot any language pack.

A great multifunctional app, including voice and image translation. (saving me, studying at a foreign university) The reason for the 4 stars is that sometimes it just. does. not. work. I paste something in and nothing happens. I then put in a simple word and if it responds at all it says "sorry, I cannot translate that" no amount of restarting helps. This apparently happens randomly and I have found no pattern. It is really annoying and would be very nice to fix!

Writing a critical review because I too can't offline languages anymore. It'll just spin until it fails. Tried tinkering with all kinds of network settings but to no avail. Of course, I too deleted the cache and data as was recommended on the Microsoft page, rebooted, un- and reinstalled etc. This only deleted the single language pack I had left and now it's basically useless offline - great. Another issue was that not all translations into Greek show in Latin. Good otherwise, shame.
