For crying out loud! Fix this, please. It's disappointing that it doesn't have the option to receive notifications on the days and hours you want in the settings. When you go to settings and tap advanced settings, it only has (delete local files). I wonder what's advanced about it. I don't want to receive a lot of messages even past 7pm. It really annoys the sh.. outa me that I have to set my profile on don't disturb every single evening and weekends and to online every single morning.

Mattermost is great but the app a disaster, whether that's for the desktop or the phone. Slow, unstable, U / battery hungry, and still less functionality than just the simple Web interface. If the app cannot improve on the web interface or at least be on par with it, what's the point?

Recently my phone has started notifying me that Mattermost crashes frequently and it wants to put the app in deep sleep. The phone and app are both up to date, so I don't know what's wrong. Hopefully, that will stop happening because I need to get notifications and can't have it in deep sleep.

below budget Slack. pretty alarming how pared back some of the expected features are. no huddle option, can't record videos, screen-sharing is subpar, text formatting is incredibly finicky and half of the time it doesn't work. reminders suck. I have to manually adjust my online status every time because client application gets stuck on AWAY. just use slack. AVOID MATTERMOST

Extremely slow. I've had this app for awhile now (a couple years now) due to work and it's horrible. If they actually get the app running smoother and faster I would be shocked. Update: still slow. Also if you need to actually get a DM then you won't get it on the app. The desktop version works fine (just don't expect to be able to communicate with your job if you actually NEEDED to do so in the event of an emergency because it's actually happened with me). WiFi or LTE is still the same speed.

Stopped working about a month ago. I get notifications but I can't see anything in the app. First it would just be a blank screen, then when I reinstalled the app it prompts me to every time but when I hit it just spins forever. Works in the browser and other people in the server don't seem to have a problem with their app

New update to v2.0.0 has provided a new look and feel that is unusable from my device. It is not proportional to my device's screen and takes up a lot of screen space. Now all of the message boards are cut off, emoji reactions are also cutoff, it no longer groups unreads at the top of my channels. Either I see the unread grouping or the list of all my channels. You can't see or manage channel . Bring back basic functionality. This update was so bad I had to downgrade to V1.55.1 .

There is no polite way to put it, the latest update is complete garbage. The ui is unresponsive. Notifications are not delivered. The app does not properly supply a device_id to the server. New posts are not delivered. Scrolling back through previous posts does not work. How did a single update break so much? The new look is also ugly and wastes space, but that wouldn't be a problem uf it weren't also broken.
