Great content but terrible app. It will stop the podcast and crash if my screen goes to sleep and wakes back up. I often have to force close and restart the app multiple times before it will successfully load. Even then it sometimes requires me to log back in before I can continue listening to the podcast I was already in the middle of listening to (despite indicating " me / keep me logged in" every time). Even aside from these crashes, the app will sometimes get stuck between segments.

Educational material is 5 stars. The app itself crashes every time I try to open it , asking the same "Let's get to know you better" personal information. On the 3rd page there's an option to select "Type of CME" - this is what kills the app every time. I can still access my learning material through the webpage. Interestingly I've already completed this personal information online so it shouldn't be required. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't fix the app crashes.

I love the content and that I can listen on the go, but the usability of the app is horrible. It loses track of where I am and replays content. If it would track my progress consistently, my rating would be 5 stars. Makes it very difficult to pop in and out of and where you left off. You have to manually go back and mark each chapter as played. Sometimes the app won't play at all. I have the most recent update.

The content is fantastic. Both the website and the app are nearly unusable. It does not track my CMEs, it loses my place on the most recently listened to episode, it doesn't load the title of the episode I'm currently listening to. Furthermore, the organization of the episodes is such that you can only listen as they come out. The back-catalog is so poorly organized that if you want to listen to episodes only dealing with cardiology, you can try to do that, but without much success.

I've tried to use it for ERCast over the last several months with android 11 and 12, and it's abysmally slow and basically unusable. Various bugs I've encountered after trying to use it for a couple hours: it randomly stops playing episodes and then will restart from the beginning; it sometimes uses cell data to play already ed episodes; play/pause and other buttons frequently won't work unless clicked multiple times. Just an awful app, it's too bad that I can't just use one of the many available podcast apps that actually work.

Update: they have made progress in improving it. Please stop showing me episodes of things I haven't signed up for like urgent care. Thanks for the improvements you have made. Much worse than old er cast app. Can't episodes. Main screen is cluttered. Needs a list view, get rid of the bubbles as I can only see one thing in each category. All of which might show the same thing making it very redundant and harder to find the most recent. Please improve!

ONLY up to 1.4x speed? A lot of us went through med school doing the 2x thing. I also listen to a lot of podcasts, audio, etc, so I find 1.4 to be slow and hard to hols my attention sometimes. I find I just use the RSS to another podcast app to get the speeds I want. Most major pods do at least up to 2.0. Otherwise, I see they are making efforts to improve the app. It's come a long way. I do wish it would allow you to make sub changes, delete podcasts you are not subscribed to, etc.Keep it up!

Imagine you had leased a beautiful car. It was fast, efficient, and helped you enjoy life. But ever since you got used to life enhanced by its presence and functionality little quirks started to pop up. First you noticed it was never quite as nice or functional as your wife's Apple car. Then it started to lock the doors every once and awhile and ignore the key. Then it degraded into a complete cluster %@^$* of an interface that ruined a wonderful thing.
