- quickly – Facial recognition and touch ID make easy while keeping your data safe.
- View test results – Access lab, imaging, and other medical test results as soon as they become available.
- Message your care team – your care team whenever you have questions through quick, secure direct messages.
- Self-schedule appointments – Book appointments with your care team and view visits beyond regular office hours. Your provider(s) must Self-Scheduling to use this feature.
- Check in before your visit – Easily check in for appointments and save time by completing any necessary documentation before your arrival. (Your provider(s) must Self Check-In to use this feature)
- Attend virtual visits – Easily initiate and attend telehealth visits with of your care team. (Your provider(s) must virtual visits through athenaTelehealth to use this feature.)
- Get directions to appointments – Driving directions show you how to get to your next medical appointment.
Please note that you must have an existing athenahealth Patient Portal to use athenaPatient.
Once you’ve ed and launched athenaPatient, you must using the same email address and you use to access your provider’s athenahealth Patient Portal to begin using the app. It will ask if you want to enable Face ID or Touch ID. Enabling either of these features will save you from having to enter your information every time you want to use the app.
If you do not have your Patient Portal information, your healthcare provider(s) may offer Patient Portal access through their website.
If you’re having issues finding your healthcare provider’s Patient Portal, you can their office for the correct URL, or to request an email invitation to their Patient Portal.
* The athenaPatient app is only available for and viewing information in the United States for patients of healthcare providers on the athenahealth network.

It's been a good app. I gave 3 stars bc ur supposed to be able to electronically sign ur documents and forms on the app so u don't have to & print, but the forms come up but u can't do any electronic signature. Idk gotta call the Dr office and see what's up. Maybe operator error, but highly doubt it...lol

Horrible. I can't get it to update my info. Can't seem to communicate to Dr thru it. Also it keeps trying to charge me to use it. My insurance does not require a co pay. So it's more confusing than anything. I would not recommend it. Sorry but it needs work

This app has not worked in over a month. All I get is a message saying "we're having trouble loading this page". No matter my signal strength. You'd think a big corporation could create an app that worked better. Uninstalling and reinstalling does nothing to solve the issue. Trying to access the portal through Google Chrome gives the same exact error.

The AthenaHealth mobile app is good to see medical appointments. Only thing I will like is add the ability to view medical results, medical records, visit summaries, and bills both on the AthenaHealth web application and mobile application. Otherwise, the AthenaHealth mobile app works well and is a good way to connect with your medical providers.

Uninstalling because Intercept X warned that athenaPatient Version 1.19.0, Installed via Google Play Store, has a low reputation due to security considerations: App can take pictures or create videos without your knowledge... App automatically starts when the device is started, and can run in the background without you noticing... App can stay active when the device is locked, which can drain the battery.

When attempting to view or pay a bill, I get stuck on a loading screen. If I do manage to get through to add my card information, the app freezes again. This app is useless.

This is the best patient portal app. Each doctor's office seems to use a different one. tI have two doctors consolidated in this app. It makes it easier to keep track of which app to use. Also, other apps lack one or more feature. In this one, I can request an appointment, receive and reply to messages from the doctor and staff. It doesn't freeze up like some apps. I wish all doctor's offices used this patient portal!

I'd really like there to be a link to mychart. Overall the AthenaPatient app works but they didn't use the updated version of Android Studio in development. I hope for the next UI update.
