I am not too impressed with this app. This app is buggy and inaccurate. I set my settings to display distances in yd, but club and course distances are displayed in meter. Also, it's not finding the holes correctly, especially the University of GA golf course. The distance tracker is off with huge margins. This app came with Galaxy Watch 5 golf edition, but I am not happy with the quantity of the app.

Change isn't good. When it went from golf buddy to smart caddie the app seems to mess up the scoring on my watch quite a bit and not record it. I also noticed that when I played a round d of golf and loaded the course the course and the score card didn't come close to matching. I went back several times to make sure I had the correct course loaded which I did and it was completely wrong. Not liking the change. This app is getting worse every time I use it. Locks up and tries to start over.

It is quite good except that csn you make ir stay on the top screen of my Galaxy Watch 4 after it turned dark? This is important when playing golf Otherwise, when I turn on the screen, I have to touch thr small button on the bottom screen of the watch. Most importantly, the auto score function does not work when the app minimized to the bottom of the screen.

Golf Caddie Review For Samsung Active 2 Smart Watch...... First of all, if you're a new figuring this app out for the first time, read these Pro-Tips - First, ensure that the app is up to the current version (1.6.4 as of this writing), do this by connecting your phone to your watch and selecting the galaxy store on your phone, then the watch tab, then update apps. If while playing you find that your watch is vibrating while trying to hit shots, this is because by default your watch is set to alert you when it is separated from your phone. You can turn this off in the watch settings if you're someone who keeps their phone in their buggy. This took me a long time to figure out so I'm happy to share what I've learnt. You can also mute your Watch's other vibrations and sounds from phone calls etc via the watch's settings. These options work independently from your phone. Review - This app has a sharp learning curve with lots of growing pains and as a result I've had to update my review here for the fourth time now. However after 14 recorded rounds using this app on my watch, I cannot be without it now! Gone are the days of trying to figure out how far you hit it with a scorecard or range-finder. Two simple button presses and it can capture your driving distance plus every other shot you record in your round. You can also see your average score per round, your total rounds tracked as well as putting average all from the home-screen. your round to the cloud after your game and you can even get more in-depth with the use of the Golfwith app on your phone or PC to get a hugely in-depth analysis of your game while having a beer at the club house directly after your round or while eating dinner at home later that night. The analysis includes a birds eye view of each hole with distance markers of your tracked shots which is fantastic. From the PC or Phone version you can also see more detailed stats. Like your scorecard, hole-analysis, and average scores across pars 3, 4 and 5. However, the most unique feature of this app is the development team behind it. They truly care about the quality of this app and will update and respond to any issues you might run into. In my case they have helped me to understand and navigate the app more thoroughly while also updating it on my behalf. When I purchased the app each of the four tees at the club house of my club (36 hole course) were colour coded instead of displaying the unique course name and whether it was the back 9 or front 9. So I wrote to the Developer and to my surprise they have now updated it so each of the tees displays the correct marker for each courses unique name! Talk about love! My only gripe left is that the app should never assume when you've finished a hole which it currently does. This is because many people take their bags to the next tee before going back to the previous green to finish putting or chipping. In some instances I could still be 50 metres out but because I'm so close to the next tee the app thinks I've already finished the hole. It would also be nice to have the green undulation information for courses outside of Korea/US. Once you get to the green the app can't be utilized to it's fullest without this information. However, with all the unique features plus a ionate dev team behind it. I can't even take off a star rating for this minor inconvenience. 5/5 stars a must-have app with tonnes of future potential still to explore!

Don't understand all the bad reviews! Used it for a round today and it's great, it's actually very accurate which surprised me, didn't need my rangefinder which I normally depend on. It let me down on one shot only, I think the GPS lost signal and gave me a green 35 yards short, but that was one shot only, and signal strength isn't really the app or developers fault. Just the score counter function would be useful for a lot of people. Will very much consider buying the one year hip 👍🏻

So, tried to use one of my 3 free trial rounds but it stopped after 9 holes and wanted me to use another trial round. Bit of a con as a round is 18 holes. I wasn't really fully convinced after 9 holes and was not prepared to use another"round" on the back 9. Why is the round split into 2? I'm not bothered about"plays like" as i can guess that pretty well. The app isn't great, takes a while to catch up after leaving the green before letting you put the score in. There's better out there for less

Absolutely frustrating app and not friendly at all. I use this with my Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Golf Edition. The format is 9in and 9out format which is horrible. Just do 1 - 18 holes! Heaven forbid you don't say yes to exit 9in to proceed to 9out instead of proceeding automatically you will never get to the 9out! If you change hole numbers the distance is grossly wrong as though measured from a hole on the front nine. Difficult to adjust your score if you missed scoring a hole. It sucks!!!

Not great. The latest update (June 2023) the app can't track scores, or even shots. Unless you land on the fairway every time it's almost useless except a general range finder. I used to love it. Now I'm open to suggestions for a new app. It crashes if you try to zoo. In on an area. If fails at the basic necessities for a golf app. Moving on with my life.
