I never thought I would see a ing software that actually makes it harder to keep your books but freshbooks managed to do it! constantly disconnects from your bank always has to have you reload info, reset your s does not keep track of your income only your expenses this software is a complete nightmare!!!

The app works well for entering receipts and payments and calculating how much my clients owe me on the go. However, the app doesn't have the full functionality of the website version, and I can't rely on it fully. One of the big setbacks for me is that the PDF file attachment toggle on the invoices doesn't actually work. Also, I'm limited on how much formatting and editing I can do using the app. To make sure my clients have a good experience, I usually create invoices on the web version.

This program is VERY GLITCHY. The biggest problem is when you tell them that it's glitchy, they tell you that it's not and that they don't plan to fix it. The easiest example is when you try to send an invoice, there is no " balance" on the invoice. So if one client has two invoices outstanding, they can never know how much they owe. Clients are always confused, and you have to manually send emails to tell them what their balances are. By that point, they haven't paid anyway, since people don't like to do a bunch of work to figure out how much they owe you. This definitely DOES NOT automate your billing experience.

Freshbooks is falling apart and as a longtime customer, I do not recommend. Broken features include expenses, projects, invoicing, and mileage tracking. They've been aware for months and still have not repaired. Invoice category changes on its own as does the date, invoices won't send through their system, and mileage only captures some drives. Nothing has been done by to fix anything. It's brutal how little they care about these catastrophic issues.

It's a pretty easy program to understand. It's definitely in it's infancy. The mobile app is a stripped down version that you would have on your PC. For example on the phone: #1 can't select a specific date when drafting a invoice. #2 prices for an item do not update when you give it a new dollar amount. You ha e to create a new item. #3 You can't attach a picture of a signed invoice you have to do it on the computer. #4 There is no option for a client to digi sign on the phone.

No option to bulk edit entries; whenever an edit or expense is categorized, the app refreshes and starts you back at the top. This is a HUGE oversite and massive time consumer. Imagine editing hundreds of entries and rescrolling through them every...single... time. You also can enter what the transaction is for (only on desktop), and there's also no way to view your current subscription or change it. Lazy programmers!!

This makes the paperwork that I don't like fun! And having the app on my phone means my schedule cannot be an excuse for not keeping up with the paperwork of billing and invoicing. the app works almost as well as the website on my desktop. Their customer service is unmatched for excellence. They really make sure you have what you need and are the definition of going the extra mile!

I accidentally found the website looking for something like it, but didn't imagine I would gonna something this awesome for free! Then I thought to check to see if there was an app, and there was! So easy to use and easy to insert your own logo for professional looking invoices. I just opened a daycare and was having some trouble keeping track of payments and getting a few parents to pay. This solves all my problems. Absolutely love it!
