This app would receive 5 stars but there's some really annoying or bad things that need to be adjusted. The search function for lures, rods, reels, etc is horrendous. If you type in a brand name or the actual serial number it doesn't take you strait to it, sometimes it sends you to a random other item or none at all. Another the VIP ads are horrible placement had 3 back to back to back in less than 10 seconds. Another thing searching equipment the pics take forever or don't load at all.

They just asked me to install an update and I agreed. It removed half of the actual functionality I used to use, like seeing local catches and seeing where on the map people caught specific fish, as well as a ton of other useful stuff. Now you have to pay for it. In the previous version it was better. Time to look for another fishing app I guess.

Changing from 5 stars as they have ramped up adds to a point it's not enjoyable to use the app. Also they removed catch positions on the map behind a pay wall. The only thing that's easy, is pouring catch data into the app for them to use as a paid feature for others to see. Sad to see it change so much.

Great FREE app! It has a lot of great features. One thing it could use to get the 5th star is adding the depth/contour to the maps. This information was made available for free in 2018 to all and would make this the Best Fishing app ever. I would even pay a small fee for this feature. 10$/year or something. UPDATE: They added more detail, but only if you pay 50$ a year? Rip off price! Fishidy is free and offers contours! Delete this and I'll see u all on Fishidy! -1 star

When I originally ed this app, it was pretty spot on. Perfect amount of free features and subscription based features. Ever since their last few updates, they've made some of the features that were originally free, subscription based, which kinda ruined the app for me. Would have rated 5 stars, but the subscription push kinda killed the app for my liking.

Fantastic site. One of the best sites for illustrating the wonderful sport of fishing and particularly boosting the fun of the sport for young, old, experienced, novice, regardless of gender, location, race, age or whatever. Not a site for just big catches. Every catch is properly appreciated and all are encouraged at every opportunity. There should be a lot more sites like this that celebrate hav8ng good clean fun. Great app! Love being able to see fishing spots and what others have caught. Also pretty beneficial on being able to save the gear (rod, line , lures, etc.) that was used on to your profile so you can recall what you've used. **One thing I'd love added is perhaps an option to see what the fish limits are for my catch, such as size requirements and bag limit (based on my location). That way I'm not going back and forth between other apps. Add that, and you'll get 5-Stars from me!**

Cool app. Fun to see who's catching what around you. Also makes it easy to find out where people around are you fishing. It's not always easy to find good fishing spots and being able to travel around and see where anyone local is fishing makes it really easy. Integration into Google maps is nice and you can record all your catches with great detail. The ads are Instagram style, meaning they mostly just show up in the picture feed, so they're pretty inoffensive. Wish the report system was better
