Got the mobile app after g up about a month ago, and it worked beautifully for a couple weeks. suddenly, without warning, it stopped working altogether, and upon launching will not load any further than the "Chanty" splash screen... I'm still able to use chanty on the computer, but the app has become completely usekess, even after cache clear, reboots, uninstall and reinstall, all the usual basic fixes. Unfortunate that my team may now have to switch to a different service altogether.

Update - problem isn't due to notification settings. Nothing arrives in the notification and everything is enabled in notifications and battery optimization is disabled + Able to run and Data allowed in background. Seems like a decent app but a huge issue is that the messages DO NOT come in unless you OPEN the app. Samsung note 10+ android 11 and Android 10 Samsung a71. Would be even better it this was fixed and it didn't require google play services to work.

i been using slack for many years then i switch to mattermost. this time I gave chanty a try, it's impressive everything is so simple to setup and use the voice message is the feature i love the most. The missing star because it's missing some handy feature like keyboard shortcut, : emoji popup, slash command and reply to messages, if those are added it deserves a five stars and it will be the number one team communication tools.

I used to get notifications all the time when messages would come in from my job. Now I do not get any notifications and I don't know if I have any messages from work unless I open the app. All my notification settings are on in the app and in my phone, so I know it has nothing to do on my end. Please fix the problem.

I stopped receiving notifications in the last 2 weeks. I tried dumping the app cache, uninstall and reinstalled and still can't get notifications even though they are allowed in app permissions. What happened?

Update: Within hours, the developers ed me and had my issue fixed. Amazing customer service and a great app. Highly recommend!! -- -- previous review: I love the app, but no matter what settings I adjust, I cannot get notifications on my phone when new messages come in. Only if I open the app and check do I know if I have a new message.

For a free service, it is not bad at all. But it feels like that the product is not really being developed or enhanced. A few annoying bugs here and there. requests take a very long time to get answered. So good for a casual collaborative solution but I would stay away from it in the Enterprise world or any medium to large scale application.

I've been testing Chanty's for a couple of days. I only gave it 3 stars because on the 2 Android phones that I have tested the Chanty App doesn't appear as an option when sharing either links or pictures. Hope that'll get solved in a next version. Otherwise, the UI is simple and clean. I like the unlimited messages, the task and file management features and the 20GB on the free plan.
