I've had some issues with it. Not clearcut about returning ebooks. Some have to be manually returned, others just expire, but the system doesn't inform you which is required. Doesn't retain check out history. Too many helper apps needed to open ebooks. Some audio books won't even attempt to open or redirect to the needed helper app. One required helper app,Axis360, corrupted this app when trying to open an ebook and I had to uninstall and reinstall.Slow to open as well. Love my library, though.

Fairly new to using the library, working towards 1000 books before kindergarten with my son. I wish Duval participated in this program or used the Beanstack app (we've been using it to track books). I also wish the app allowed to create and add to a reading list so when I notice interesting books we can to come back to them. It seems there may be this feature on the website but the app is way more convenient...if only it allowed it.

Not very good. As another reviewer stated, this app asks for information that it has no business wanting. Some wording about a "beacon" comes up wanting access to location. Why is this necessary to renew my checkouts or search for a book... I signed up for the card so you know where I live. I physically come in about once a week... you can "follow" me that way. Lately (last 6 months), it takes too much time to open. What did you developers or site managers do to the app? Fix it please!

This app used to be quite functional, but about six months ago, it was broken to the point of being unusable and has been that way ever since. Very disappointing from this excellent library system.

Hours should be longer. Too many popular audiobooks not offered through Overdrive (a competing library service is much better). Ebooks offered primarily in .epub format so you have to de-DRM them & convert to .mobi for Kindle. Too few leases for popular books leading to months-long hold times.

There isn't any way to change your name in the app or the website. So everytime I use the app it says "Welcome [DEADNAME]" with my deadname being in all caps. It's very disturbing and makes me feel as if the library isn't a safe space for trans people like me.

Dirty diaper garbage fire app. Wish I could give ZERO STARS!! Shoulda known the Jax Library would put this hot mess out. YOU CANT EVEN CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS USING THE APP!! Pathetic. This is like everything else at the Regency Branch, broken or on its way to being broken...the metal detector randomly goes off...the computers are aged trash...the librarys software is incompetent. Im sticking with my online , less frustration. Im sending this POS app right where it belongs, the toilet!

Love the public library! Also if you search for digital stuff, it tells you which app you'll need to use like libby or Hoopla
