USAGE
● move forward and backward in the calendar by swiping vertically
● switch between calendar views with a horizontal swipe (opens the day or week you start the swipe gesture on) or double-tap for day view
● tap to open a calendar event
● long-press to add new calendar event
● long-press on mini-month to go to today or jump to date
● configurable actions on 3-finger-tap, tap on title, volume buttons
● long press an event in day view to drag to a different time

I have used a calendar for years and find it to be easy to use with many customization options. It seems that I used to be able to set alarms for my appointments, rather than notifications. I haven't found a way to set a ringtone for a calendar notification, and the short tone that is used now does not catch my attention. Hoping that this is changed so I don't have to find another calendar app. Thanks for the good work!

It used to be better! There's now an extra step required to snooze an event/reminder for a certain amount of time. You used to go directly from click/snooze to snooze/time. Now a random default snooze time of 10 or 15 mins (that I'm sure is helpful to no one), so you have to click into snooze, then the default, then snooze/time. It's the little things folks... And if this wasn't a purposeful change, then I'd recommend more regression testing.

Amazing app, thank you so much! Two requests though : to add a new appointment, it would be nice to be able to long-press a particular day, instead of having to tap on the day and then tap the "plus" sign. Also since some of my task lists are shared with my family, it would be helpful to have a notification when a new task is added or completed (via Davx5 and OpenTasks) . Thanks!

Useful apps, well designed. however it seems totally connected to Google agenda. I can't keep the events disconnected from the Google Agenda, if I want local calendars to appear in acalendar, they will also be in the Google calendar (which I use for other purpose). I get double notifications and it's not convenient when you want two unrelated agendas. besides, impossible to get the events of my professional calendar which is on boxer...

I was looking for a way to have all my calendars in one place. I opened it and right away all of the calendars set up in my phone in various apps were there. Nothing to do on my side! GE NIOUS. The holidays too. And the UI is very nice, very smooth transition with swipes.

[Update: loses one star for very rarely (twice in several years) reverting to an older state, restoring deleted past events and deleting ones] Love aCalendar! One request: When recurring weekly events are edited en masse, changing the date should automatically adjust the day of the week on which the event recurs as well. That it does not feels counterintuitive, and if the doesn't doublecheck they might not even notice that the desired effect was not achieved. Thanks!

Fantastic UI, lots of functionality, great weekly view, and it has some features others don't (like showing weather in month mode or birthday images). I'd 5-star this if the dev can figure out why all my Microsoft tasks appear a day before the due dates. Was in with him but he ghosted me while we were in the process of figuring it out. I DO wish tasks would automatically sync, but even with my other calendar app, it seems like you need to manually sync each time.

I was always happy with the app for many years, but I got a new phone and none of my calendar entries transferred to the new phone. I ed the company but they just gave me standard answers or referred me to their website, which I had already read and which didn't solve my issues (which was the reason for ing the company). Very disappointed.
