The main reason I bought this was for more accurate metrics, but also the integration with exr. When I first got it there was a bug that caused a huge lag. Not only did they fix the bug, but was incredibly helpful and kept me informed while they were fixing it. Now the integration works great and I can also use this main app to improvemy performance.

Overall good app, however, it has a little bit of a ways to go still. I am using the Android version, which does have different features than the Apple version. Pros: *Stable and I haven't had any issues. *Intuitive to use and manage. *Rowing tutorials included are good for beginners. *Racing feature is fun to use. *Pairing with Strava is great- it worked really well and is better than what my watch s when I do a rowing workout. *Bluetooth heart rate connectivity is good.

Good app overall, but could use a few tweaks. I've had my Waterrower for a week or so, and so far the app is performing as d. The pace boat feature is helpful and the other metrics displayed are clear and customizable. I haven't had any of the issues a few others have noted around connectivity (I did have a brief problem with an older phone, but that was because I had disabled location services which impacts all Bluetooth LE connections it appears). My cheap no name HR band connects fine as well. Strava syncs happen immediately for me too. The one thing missing is the ability to add custom workouts by time/HR zone/power etc. I am currently using a tabata timer app with audio cues to help me track intervals or relying on my Suunto watch to buzz if I go out of zone. It would be better if this was integrated with visual cues on the screen to avoid the mental gymnastics of trying to track what you are supposed to be doing with the data on display.

Brilliant app - loads quickly, very stable, connects to SmartRow and heart rate monitor in seconds. Very easy to pair with Strava; workouts are synched literally a few seconds after you finish your session. Loads of public races, custom workouts, and metrics to sink your teeth into. Personally I love the force curve, and have already found it useful in improving my form. Such a HUGE improvement over the S4 - this is a workout computer for 2020 and beyond, rather than a glorified calculator!

Connection to SR and HRM is solid and dependable. Workouts are challenging. Two suggestions - 1) for specified stroke rate, a metronome would be helpful 2)An option to pause a workout or row and then resume would be fantastic (like happens, kids need help, dogs bark, rowers get used as an interval in a workout with other equipment and activities)

Much better than the water rower A1 monitor. Accurate stats and friendly. Loses a star by not allowing time/distance intervals to be programmed, which really would be a game changer 😃

I am using it on a weekly basis and all works perfectly on a Samsung Galaxy s10e. We now can set up our own interval training, which is by far the most usefull. The only minor improvement would be to add intervals by distance instead of time.

This app sucks. Been using it for 3 months roughly 4 times a week and it syncs inconsistently. Workouts might show up at 2am, if at all. Its fine for tracking in real time (my splits are accurate) but do not expect them to be saved to your profile. Cmon guys.... I now track my efforts on the rower with strava. At least it shows me SOMETHING and end of my workout...
