Pretty good so far! I imported from Google and it seems to have brought everything over, but I don't love that the widget is only in a list form of events until you actually click on it. I find it kind of overwhelming to look at and wish that it would just display the calendar in month form.

I love what Proton stands for. I've had great experience with their other services. However, the calendar app is not reliable. Events are not reliably syncing from the web app on my PC to the android app. Thus, I'm not receiving notifications and I'm missing important events. I've spoken with , which was fast and thorough. I hope they get this fixed soon; I want to use this product. Edit: I identified the issue and found a fix.

It's a good app. However, I need to enter approx. 300 work entries that do not follow a pattern, though all for the same thing. I am 9 entries in and I'm rethinking Proton calendar for this reason. It's 24 clicks to put in one entry (12hr shifts that wrap. i.e. 5pm Mon to 5 am Tues). 291 entries x 24 clicks = 6,984 clicks. SIX THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FOUR! That only includes my current schedule. I think a copy/paste feature would be amazing but I may be 6,984 clicks biased! LOL

There's no reason to stick with Google, when they treat our data like they do! This app is a good replacement for Google Calendar, with good compatibility so you can import and view Google calendars. Someone also responded to this review to explain how to change something I thought you couldn't change (the notification defaults for new events). My only complaint is that color coding is behind a paywall, which is understandable!

So far so good. I have only been using the app now for about 2 weeks, but I really like it. I'm transferring to Proton products (from Google). I'm very happy so far with Proton. The only issue I have with the calendar is that the widget doesn't allow for month view, only agenda.

Checked in after 6 months. Still REQUIRED to to use app... Missing basic features. Firstly I don't want to HAVE to to use a calendar, this should be optional to FULLY use this app- not up for debate. There is NO OPTION to change event colors. Everything MUST be SAME. I like to use different colors for events. Let me choose. Will these features be behind a paywall too? Quickly growing dissatisfied with Proton. I already switched VPN's and Drive apps. Email might be next at this rate.

Been using proton calendar for a long time. Suddenly without causing it, the widget just doest show anything. You can click it and it then opens the app and shows everything in the weeks but the widget just sits blank. It refreshes but it shows nothing. I updated, checked permissions.. totally frustrated. UPDATE: Fixed after wiping app data and g back in.

I like the design and layout. (It essentially copies Google with different colors.) I like the privacy. It might be a great calendar app EXCEPT that it doesn't reliably display events!!! Over about a week that I've been experimenting with this it randomly won't display certain holidays at all! This means I simply can't trust it! What if it decides to just not show an important event that I enter in to it???! Reliability must be #1 even before security for something like this.
