This was a good weather app until this past year, especially the last 6 months. The info on the app does not sync with the local weather broadcast on WLNS. Understandable since the app developer is in TX. Obviously no one is communicating with Lansing, MI. The video portion of the app no longer works!! VERY irritating! It's very handy to have this info if I miss the local weather broadcast. Is no one in TX paying attention to these reviews??

I use this app daily to check the weather as letter carrier. It gives me local weather info that I feel is accurate and up-to-date. My only issue is that the follow me option doesn't work. When selected it just clocks, no matter how long I wait. I have the location permission allowed, but still doesn't seem to work. That is the only reason I don't give it 5 srars. But I still recommend it.

Good weather app. Easy to use and understand. Needs a couple refinements. Cloud cover , fairly often states it is clear/sunny when it is overcast. Hourly conditions/forecast- tries to get to specific. Example; moderate rain begins,9:45 a.m., moderate rain ends 11:15 a.m. These specific events are rarely correct. Stick to precip percentage , winds, temp. Big plus is the lightning indicator and severe weather graphics.

Ever since this last version has been rolled out, the screen is littered with so many ads its tough to see the weather content. I really don't want to watch meteorologists drone on about the weather. I want succinct information delivered hourly, daily, and the radar. Cut out the other nonsense! Put it back to the way it was.

The latest update has ruined the app. It jams loading because it loads everything at once and it can't handle it. Additionally, they no longer load current videos in a timely manner, if at all. I'm going to delete it. I've WILX weather app instead, it works and has timely information.

I have always trusted our WLNS TV 6 Weather to be able to give the Highest and most Accurate Weather Forecast for well over 40 Year's, and now to have the WLNS Weather App to be able to have a most trustworthy Weather forecast from anywhere in the United State's of America is just as good as having the WLNS TV 6 Weather Team available right inside the Cellphone at any time, especially for when it comes to the Severe Weather Storm's!!

They just had to dumb it down for iPhone s, and only continues to get worse. The menu is less intuitive with just a few buttons at the bottom of the screen, made simple so degenerates can use it. Plus the satellite imagery looks like it was drawn on an Etch a Sketch. This app is about as worthless as news 6 and its terrible anchors.

10/17/20 won't work again, WHY??? 8-1-20 Don Won't work on my Samsung s6. Have used previous version for a long time and have enjoyed the features better then other weather apps but quit working a couple of weeks ago so reloaded several times with no luck so back to the weather bug which works fine. 10/17/20 not working again, why???
