Opened the app and thought it was the best marine forecast app I ever tried, the app offers customizable interface that I found awesome. Then I closed the app and when I opened it again everything was paid, only one weather forecasting model was available for free, the customized interface that took me 10min to create was also paid... Uninstalled the app right away. This app is everything but honest, it lets you catch a glimpse of amazing features and then asks you to pay to get them back.

I'm a Pro of this App but it plays second fiddle to others. It is still trying to be all things to all people and it's interface is too cluttered. Despite in 2018 nothing has really improved on this front. Features yes, UX no. The biggest issue for me though is the slowness of the data load/refresh when using the wind map and forecasts compared to other similar apps. Glithchy. Cartography needs looking at eg place names have halos or such like effects, which makes legibility poor

fantastic!!! Update follows: Great app! It's new features make it worth the cost. No need for the other apps I have. All consolidated here with Windy. I appreciate this app! As a truck driver, I've arranged it features to accommodate my travels. Highly recommend this to all who travel and visit areas of potential bad weather. Great way to plan ahead by using this app. I give this app........ 👍👍👍👍👍

I like all that it can do but it misses out on some basic weather app functions. I really wish I could have a widget that showed me the current temperature, daily high, and daily low. And im the opened app, a weekly forecast would be nice to. Currently I can see hourly breakdowns for the week but I'm not able to quickly, at a glance, see what the coming up week is going to be like or even what the current temperature is. For all it's great functions, I just end up not using the app.

Incorrect forecast most of the time, like it's literally raining right now and the app shows nothing on the map currently, nor in the past or future plays. The app is extremely complicated and the tutorials are not helpful at all. The app bombards you with ads to purchase and upgrade as soon as you open it and then after every single click you make, but why would I pay for this when you can't even tell me the most basic weather information correctly? Don't waste your time with this app.

0 stars is unfortunately not an option. Congratulations on ruining the windy app. Constant pop ups to buy pro. Features continue to be removed and put behind a pay wall. Can't even tap on a spot on the map and see the wind any more. You would think that the feature that shares the name of the app should at least be included with basic functionality. But no windy is too greedy. Your killing it guys!

This app is doing a great job of showing me all the info I want to see to plan SUP outings. It took me a bit to find the water temperature display - I got that by creating a custom profile using foiling as a starting point, and I added a field to the new profile. I saw a post saying that the iOS app has a water temperature layer on the map. It seems that the Android app does not? That would be nice to have.

Pretty good app. I'd git it a 4.5. I like that there is a lifetime subscription option. Data on fishing is cool. Could do with a bit of polish on the UI. Eg making it more intuitive to turn (just) push notifications off a chat, for example.
