Great app, lots of information. What I dislike is the lack of ability to see all the information I need on a route (boating). I see wave height, but I also want to the frequency, I want to see the wind waves. All the info is there, but I have to close the route each time to change to another view. The app needs the ability to customize what I want to see and select multiple layers, like wind, wave, wind waves, and frequency. This is key to mariners!

Immediately upon opening this app, I see a big inconvenience. It would be helpful if there were 4 x 1 widgets also because I have many productivity apps on my homescreen that I use in daily life. In order to fit the large sized widgets from Windy, I have to choose which apps to sacrifice. This is almost enough to make me consider not even installing this app.

AI nobody wants... the new integrated history/prediction slider is garbage; I can make much better predictions myself without it interfering with junk information; it actually prevents me from landing on the most recent frame; a button on the "more ..." expansion menu to switch between the two modes would be much better; best would be getting rid of it entirely

I almost never buy app subscriptions but I subscribe to Windy. The free version is great, the paid version adds some features that are definitely worth it. Having access to so many different weather models so easily and so well-integrated is awesome. I do not believe I have seen an app with such excellent integration of weather radar and lightning mapping as well.

I live on St. Croix, in the US Virgin Islands, and I've been through all of the hurricanes to impact the island, starting with Hugo in 1989. I have used all of the different metereological tools, as they have become available over the years, in order to prepare my properties and businesses for storms and their aftermath. Windy is in a class by itself: easily navigated UI, intuitive tools for analysis, and an unrivaled depth of information.

One of my favorite weather apps! However, it would be great to see improvement in the maps formatting, zoom & map scroll feature on android. For example, When I check radiation areas in certain areas and try to zoom out (by " pinching") on the map for a broader view, the map will only zoom out so far & when you lift your fingers off the map, it expands back to where it was previously- that's not quite so UI friendly...but overall excellent app.

The UI/UX changes from a year ago ruined this app, & a year's worth of fixes has made it worse. The weather picker is always changing at the blink of an eye. The layer selector and options take too much screen real estate. Webcams are missing the most recent 18 hours. I could continue listing PAGES of problems that didn't exist a year ago, not to mention how many features are now. I also see a bot auto-responding to every recent new review, which implies bot development is the priority.

Windy, where have you been? As a weather nerd, I've tried many different weather apps, but somehow never knew about Windy until today. It is the best weather app I've ever used. Wind is just the beginning -- it covers heat thermals, air quality, weather forecasts, radar maps, etc. Such intelligent design! Incredibly customizable. And a real bargain for the features, although the free version is so much more than most weather apps. The only weather app you'll need. ❤️
