I'm a longtime of the pc version and the predecessor of this app. While this app is really great, I am missing one option: It would be great if it was possible to switch off the labels entirely. While the labels are nice I would like to switch them off at times, for example to display the 4 big Jupiter moons as they appear in my binocular: without labels. Also I am missing the many pamorama views from the previous version as well as the acoustic background options.

Love the app, the best astronomy app I have had to date. Unfortunately, I cannot use it on my new Google Pixel 6, as there is a glitch with either the app or with the phone that shows all nebulas as white squares/blocks. I ed , but they could not recreate the issue. I do highly recommend this app UNLESS you have a Pixel 6. Update to my review. The developer has fixed the issue with Pixel phones, now it works perfectly. I can now recommend this app to everyone.

Great UI. No need to subscribe to Ultimate Subscription; stick with Pro! Ultimate adds more favorites which you should not need to pay for anyhow. Also adds notifications but no way to add them for all es of an object like in non-sub competitors such as SkyTonight. Both Pro and Ultimate are not as full as Luminos Pro or Skysafari -eg not all moons present, no detailed info on objects (links outside app). App is rarely updated. Pro is still worth the price. Ultimate subscription not worth it.

Wasnt sure about 10usd but to my surprise its a great app. There is an ultimate subscription with features that may entice some s of fancy telescopes... Idk there are other apps out there for free right? No ads lots of thigs to see and look at. Can fly around and do somethings like the videos. Video preview makes app look janky but it actually a well rounded app once you press everything and figure out the interface. settings for labels and brightness of constelations, debris, satalites, ect

I purchased Redshift Sky Pro some time ago, and even though I have only a ing interest in astronomy, I like to know what I'm looking at when observing the night sky. A few days ago I purchased Stellarium Plus on the assumption that it would be better than Redshift Sky Pro as it's more expensive. No, I was completely wrong! Redshift Sky Pro excels Stellarium Plus in all aspects especially regarding the display and UI. I have now uninstalled Stellarium Plus and I shall not be using it again.

Excellent free version. Better than the competition. A star is deducted for a lack of benefits in the paid version, which I have unsubscribed from. What would make it worth the money for me, as an astrophotographer, would be more imagery of the Deep Sky Objects. Whilst some of the nebulae are shown in detail, most are just ill defined snowballs. Such a shame. If in addition the Telrad overlay could be edited to show fields of view for telescope/camera combinations, that would be perfect.

Fantastic app, very well designed. Easy to use. Helped me get some good photos of the Neowise comet, and to find other interesting objects. A full 5 stars and a double thumbs up from me. No issues at all. Not like the other app I used to use. I paid for that other app, only to be kicked to the side with their release of the exact same app under a similar name, and full charges again. So uncool. I hope you never go down that same route. Keep up the good work.

Best. I've had this on my past two smartphones. Only thing I wish it had, is facts and trivia on celestial bodies you click on without having to go to exterior sources. I get that they can't store that much info in the app, but instead of sending us to a remote website, import the information so I can stay in the app.
