This app is an automatic file sync and backup tool. It lets you automatically synchronize files and folders with Dropbox cloud storage and with your other devices. It is an ideal tool for photo sync, document and file backup, automatic file transfer, automatic file sharing between devices,...

New files in your cloud are automatically ed onto your device. New files in your device are ed. If you delete a file on one side, it will be deleted on the other side. It works across multiple devices (your phone and your tablet). If their folders are synced with the same cloud , they will be kept in sync with each other.

This is how Dropbox works on computers but not on Android. Two-way automatic synchronization should be an essential function of the official app. For whatever reason, it is not the case. Dropsync is here to fill the gap.

So far, I am pretty happy with the app. It does exactly what you tell it to do. And I mean exactly. Don't be careless like I was and use the Mirror option and also select your root of your SD card, where you might store your pictures from your phone. If you do, then you will have to figure out how to restore them! I mainly use it along with my setlisthelper app to keep the music files in sync with my Dropbox.

Great app that takes up no battery, or if it does you can't tell anyhow. Does everything it's supposed to . Scans daily , or if you something through the day it'll scan , and add it to your Dropbox. You choose which files you want Dropbox to save , and you choose if you want it to delete it off your phone, or keep it on your phone as well , along with mirroring which it tells you what that is in the app. Just had alot of options, shows your memory left in dropbox storage too.

Love this app! I use it to synch photos to my Dropbox, from all the random apps that store photos in their own folders that the official Dropbox app can't and won't see. The app is simple enough to set up and use and once you've set it up, you can just forget about it and it will do it's thing for you in the background. Highly recommended!

Can't create the initial connection to Dropbox . A webpage comes up, but it's blank. Same with the autosync app. Is there a problem between the app and galaxy s22? Edit: After a fast response to my issue the app is now working and I give it 5 stars. They suggested I use Chrome, but I was already. The problem was that my security settings were too tight.

So much more control than standard Dropbox s. Nice job. Update: loaded it on new phone, I wish it had a feature to not same pics ed from previous phone. I didn't think of that so it took hours ing duplicates to Dropbox. If you're doing that..... move old files out of the files first. Otherwise, a perfect compliment to Dropbox. Update: another new phone (S20 FE) still an awesome app. Thanks for offering the pro edition. Gives it more control.

You need this, or a sister app for Google-Drive, MS One-Drive, etc. This is the first app I use on a new/reset phone to restore data/settings for apps that don't have cloud storage. Nice /pro features: you can sync different folders anywhere in storage, while Dropbox on PC puts it all in one folder. Strangely, this doesn't save its own settings in the cloud. When setting up initially on a new/reset phone, you have to bootstart it by manually setting up the folder with its own settings.

I've been using the free for several months to keep an Android folder synced up with a Dropbox folder. It's reliable and so useful that I just paid for the full pro version, and plan to sync multiple folders. This makes the task of sharing sets of huge files (like audiobooks) between my phone and computer so much simpler! And it has worked great to keep Obsidian notes in sync on both devices. Highly recommended!
