They try to make it as complicated as possible to cancel service. When I was able to cancel service and disable automatic payments, they still charged me anyway. Even though i no longer have a website or domain from them. They charged me for receiving no services from them! $324 for their services, in case you were wondering. I'd give 0 stars if possible

It is so difficult to navigate this app. I can't use this platform since I need a laptop or desktop to do literally anything. For the price, the app and mobile abilities need serious work. Shameful, honestly. Even cheaper platforms like Weebly allow you to edit your site and add digital files both from the app and through mobile access.

Awful mobile responsiveness. Squarespace designed responsiveness to break up words extremely unnaturally. Imagine your first split-second customer impression being botched by a few trailing letters on the headline of the homepage. Why? It's not that you can't spell or didn't test the site on multiple devices as well as the native desktop/mobile toggle. No, it's that Squarespace developers thought it was a good idea to break up words letter by letter, and one device slipped past your tests.

Garbage. App crashes all the time and even though it's supposed to be a mobile app, the photo editing feature for blogs cuts off half of the editing functionality on the right. Plus, blog posts don't actually publish, even though the app SAYS it is published, when you do it from the app. Nice work Squarespace 👍.

I checked the reviews before I ed the app and b/c of the capacity in which it takes to truly build a website, I personally prefer to do bigger edits on the actual Squarespace website on my PC and do small edits through the app. it's more seamless and less stressful for me. I think that's where a lot of people get confused and assume that this app will be completely all access and all functional & completely mobile when it's not. there's a few features that aren't available mobile wise

If I could give negative stars, I would. I used to love Squarespace and was even a circle member. Now, the more "improvements" they make, the worse it gets. The app is beyond basic and glitchy. The design options are lacking. The customer service is non-existent! Also, I have been waiting almost 40 days for a payout. I'm sure they'll jump on and say a ticket has already submitted, and yes, it has with over 30 emails, incompetent responses, 10 different agents, and still no resolution.

Commerce integration is trash. Squarespace app DOES NOT alert me to new orders upon arrival. I have to go looking for them. Went to update the notification settings to change that, but it's not an option. Items show up double in the order. So lets say they ordered 1 item, it will show 2 and you have to the amount paid to identify what was actually purchased. Fix this. Stat. Mes my daily flow.

As a photographer, Squarespace's performance is completley unacceptable. After mandatory/opaque image compression, load times are still in the minutes for pages with 20-30 images (on a 100mbs connection) - even then, only a thumbnail loads which is a pixelated version of the actual image. Other features such as site editing are just as buggy as they were five years ago. Features for older sites are not maintained. This is a failing platform, I wish they made it easier to migrate off of it.
