To use this heart rate monitor app, just put your finger on the phone's camera and stay still, the heart rate should be shown after several seconds.
What is a normal heart rate or heartbeat?
According to Mayo Clinic, a normal resting heartbeat rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute (BPM). However, keep in mind that many factors can influence the heart rate, including Activity level, Fitness level, Body size, Emotion, etc. Generally, but not always, a lower heartbeat at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness.
Consult your doctor if your resting heartbeat is consistently above 100 beats per minute or if you're not a trained athlete and your resting heartbeat is below 60 beats a minute.
What are heart rate training zones?
Heart rate training zones are calculated using maximum heart Rate (MaxHR). Within each training zone, subtle physiological effects take place to enhance your fitness. We have a similar definition to those used in Fitbit trackers:
- REST ZONE (up to 50% HRmax): This considers as resting zone.
- FAT BURN ZONE (50 to 70% of maximum): Recovery and warming up exercises should be completed in this zone. It’s called the fat burn zone because a higher percentage of calories are burnt from fat.
- CARDIO ZONE (70% to 85% of HRmax): Most of the main exercise should be completed in this zone.
- PEAK ZONE (greater than 85% of HRmax): This zone is ideal for short intense sessions (high-intensity interval training HIIT) to improve performance and speed.

From what I've experienced with this heart rate monitor, it's a great app! Does exactly what it's supposed to do. And it let's me save my heart beats/keep track of them, which I think can be really helpful for different people. I wouldn't mind the description part of "saved heart rate" to allow a little longer of a description, but maybe that's just me. All in all, solid and helpful app that does it's job!

Not bad! Very satisfied for a smart phone app. It's not always accurate, and sometimes I'll get wildly different results from consecutive readings, but I think that's too be expected (a smartphone is not designed as a heart rate moitor). It let's you take unlimited readings, and that really makes up for inaccuracy because I can take my pulse several times in a row so I know can get an accurate result when each reading is similar. Would recommend!

Data tracking is inaccurate, one day off. Individual recordings don't give an average, but give the ending number. It can be totally goofy during the whole test but the last number is 55 and that's what you get.. However, learning to look at the graph and get an idea what it means, seeing regularity, it is useful. THE INCREASED NOISY ADS ARE AN INCREDIBLE NUISANCE. When you look @ statistics, some of the ads beep 5 seconds or other noise before you can turn them off. I MAY QUIT THE APP!!!

This app is unfortunately becoming less and less reliable. When I initially do the first test, it comes up with some crazy numbers that are nowhere near the actual rates. I have to run the cycle two or three times before it actually gives me anything close to the real numbers. I use this to test for AFib so you can imagine how alarming it is when I do the first run and it shows my pulse rate to be well over a hundred, when in reality it's more like 80. It also jumps from like 57 to 130.

I ed 2 heart rate apps on my new phone and I really like this one the best. It's easy and it's very visual. In One update the stats were way off of the actual date. Feb2022 update - The statistics are closer to the accurate date, only one day off. The last update was a week off. The visual graph of heart rate is As good as usual. I've tried a couple of others but always come back to this one.

I like the interface, and the logging, it is straightforward and minimalist. The app seems to have a ton of trouble getting my heart rate when it is elevated from activity, like running. The trace coming through just looks like garbage and the numbers are all over the place. Overall it seems good for getting resting heart rate, but thats about it.

I like the look of the interface. Simple, modern, attractive, not trying to sell you something every three seconds. My one complaint is that the app seems to occasionally default to opening on a page that's blank except for the menu hamburger (those ubiquitous three lines). It means I have to click through to a menu instead of putting my finger right on the lens to measure my pulse. When trying to measure my heart rate during a workout or when I'm half asleep, this extra step is very irkspme.

1. Very difficult to find the right position for a finger. 2. Very primitive statistics close to none. Changing 3 stars to 4 since I have found the way to make masurements efficiently and easily. Instead of trying to fit your finger to the camera as the instructions says, place the camera on any open area of your body (arm, leg, etc.); it works like a charm.
