I can't directly sync to Strava but I used to like this app. This morning I was hearing, incessantly, "no GPS signal... GPS signal cc restored". So I used Mapmyrun, no problem with GPS.

This app is great for people looking for pace during their race. The only problem is that the pace calculation is not based on the frequency, if I choose to get every 100m, the pace seems to be calculated on a longer distance (maybe 1km). This means that if I accelerate, the calculated pace will take a few iterations before giving the actual new pace, slowly increasing. Same thing when you're slowing down, you don't know right away.. Which defeats the purpose...

Absolutely great app. Been using for 3 weeks now and couldn't be more pleased. The audio pace alerts was exactly what I was looking for, and all the other features like best lap times and the google earth overlay are just icing on the cake. Some advice for anyone using it, if your GPS signal is a little sketchy, do not select the "detect if my pace changes" because a loss of GPS will cause the timer to stop. Not the apps fault, it just depends on your signal strength which can vary.

This app offers so many features and configurable options, especially considering it's free. Does everything I need and more. The voice updates work superbly, especially with headphones. It can be a little bit inaccurate around routes with lots of corners, but this is an issue with GPS in general, including top end running watches.

I really like it - it does exactly what I need it to do, that is telling me my speed and keeping stats on runs (time, distance, speed, splits, etc.). I've been trying to run slower (to build up distance) and this has been super helpful. Have been using it for several months, have not had any issues.

I LOVE THIS APP! I tell it the distance I want to go and the time I want to do it in, and it tells me through my earbuds every 1/8th mile how much ahead or behind schedule I am. I can still play music using my music app, and this app mutes the music while it's speaking. My Apple-using running buddies are bummed out that it's not available for them. Can't recommend highly enough! Thank you!

Very useful audio pacing. Tried the app at walking pace to get used to it. For a 5k run, set it to a fast tiarget time, with audio updates every 1/8th mile. Used it with a running armband and wired earphones. Set the volume fairly high. The audio tells you the pace for the last 1/8th mile, e.g. 4:18 per km, and "3 seconds behind pace" or whatever. Just what I needed. Did push me on to achieve a fast time. The summary stats and map of the run were excellent. GPS requires good signal in the open.

This app does exactly what I need. I use it daily for training so I can set the pace for various sessions and the "achieve planned time" assistant mode for races. Fantastic. The only improvement I'd love is front screen buttons to switch between assistant modes, rather than having to dig into settings to make this change. Wish I could pay for an ad free version too.
