I'm brand new to CKD having just learned about my condition in the past couple of weeks. Obviously I'm freaking out about what I can and cannot eat, and boy is it tough! I stocked my refrigerator and pantry with foods I know are okay and have been building meals around them, but tracking totals in a spreadsheet is a pain. This app is exactly what I needed! It lets me add foods easily, and I can create custom meals as I make them for daily/weekly preps! 10/10

App is NOT FREE. It gives you a 14-day trial without telling you and then locks all functionality after the 14 days. You have to pay $5 a month to keep using it. And for people on dialasys who can't work, that's not fair. Also, you can only create 20 custom foods, whether you're a paid member or not, which is insane because of how inaccurate the database is. Almost all brand-name items dont have Phosporus, potassium, or water listed, which is all things you can find on the USDAs website.

Checking the total nutrition is nice for the day, but it would be nice also to be able to check for the week and the month if that's something you could add.

This app was recommended by my dietician for my kidney health but I can't find any use for it. As previously mentioned, the layout and design is very clunky and awkward. But there are several issues that I just can't recommend this app. Food database is incredibly limited. The scanner doesn't recognize any barcodes. Found one item in my trial run but it brought up no nutritional values for the food. Just go with a well-known app to save frustration. Correction: found 5 types of muesli. 👍

I've just been put on a low potassium diet and was so confused about what I could & could'nt eat. The app has taken that confusion away.

I like most of the features of this app, such as being able to see both a chart and a side by side comparison. There are a great number of duplicate listings though, leaving me wondering which is accurate. The inability to remove an item inadvertently added to the diary is my main problem. Please add this feature in your next release. Thanks for creating a tracker for this type of diet!

I was using MyFitnessPal, but it didn't track phosphorus, so I'm glad I found this app, but it has room for improvement. It needs a bigger food library. Also, some common items aren't recognized when the bar code is scanned, specifically egg beaters. I've come across others, as well. I've had to make a lot of custom foods. There needs to be more measurement options, such as by single grams, ounces, tablespoons, cups, etc. This would be especially helpful for fruit. Thank you.

It's hard to find an app that includes potassium and phosphorus tracking, so it's great that this one does. I do end up making a lot of custom foods, as we cook at home and there isn't any recipe/style info on the pre-built items. Although the "email" the diary is a nice step, I'd like to be able to get a full data dump so as to look at a longer period/trend. Lastly, it would be handy to be able to track a few renal symptoms - to see if increased nausea/twitching etc occurs, all in one spot.
