Have to drop my score down to one star. This app used to be amazing. It even used to recognized obscure foreign songs. Now however, it never recognizes anything. It just listens and says there were no matches, or says there's an error. I bought this app years ago because it was so good. But if they don't fix it soon, I'm moving to something else.

This used to be a great app, but unfortunately it seldom works anymore. Most of my ID requests now go into a saved queue for later, but then the app "Couldn't connect to SoundHound" to try again. Between this, Shazam, and Google Sound Search, I could usually make a solid ID. I preferred this one for the ability to save when and where I heard it, but it appears that I'm mostly down to the other two now.

Such a degradation from original app! I bought version YEARS ago & app was like magic! If someone played music in a crowded auditorium, no matter the noise from the crowd, SoundHound was always 100% accurate & identified everything and anything. That was BEFORE. Now, app is TERRIBLE. I'm sitting in my car, parked, with zero outside noise, listening to "Holly Jolly Christmas" Burl Ives & app only says "your search was saved" NEVER gives a result anymore! Who doesn't know Burl Ives!?!?!?!

I bought this app many MANY years ago. Worked like a charm. Now everytime I open it and try to identify anything, I always get an error. I gave it a few weeks, thinking that maybe it was a random bug that the devs were working on. Weeks became months, then years. I gave this app so much credit that I didn't bother to write a review until now. What happened to you guys.... This app used to be so so perfect. Uninstalling is looking very likely, since I haven't seen any progress for quite awhile.

Edit: this app now appears to be completely dead. Always "saves search for later" which reading between the lines I believe means the servers are gone. This used to work great. Now it has about a 30% success rate, and the lyrics scrolling is awful. It will be correct, and then just go and change itself. Pulls up obscure singles and compilation albums for songs instead of the main album it's on, usually meaning no lyrics at all when it does that.

I used to love this app to find songs, but it seems like SoundHound has abandoned for it. Never works, it only "saves a search" for later. In the past it would find practically everything, but now it's a broken, uned app. I paid $5 years ago for it, so I got my money's worth, but I feel bad for those that SH has ripped off these last months. Don't spend a dime on this!

Been a fantastic app for many years. Disappointed it has stopped working. I hear Soundhound are aware of this and claim to be working on a fix but that seems to be false info. They've simply abandoned this app and all those who paid for the pro version. If like me you paid for the pro version, report the app to Google, request a refund.

Has really gone down hill since the summer. Have been using SoundHound since 2010, was far superior to any other competing app and service, but now it has crapped the bed. Haven't been able to successfully ID songs (in generally not noisy environments) since around August. No app updates to speak of to fix this. Shame, may abandon it after almost 15 years.
