I absolutely HATE the way the last update changed the layout. Having to manually switch between "chords" and "strumming" instead of having both visible at the same time + not being able to see every chords at once just makes it impractical for no reason at all. It renders the app unaccessible & frankly unusable to me now, even though I pay for it! It was fine the way it was so WHY change something that wasn't broken? Either give the old layout back or fix this mistake.

I have been using this app (originally website) for nearly two decades, and it's never had any issue. I've gladly paid for the Pro hip ever since it launched. But, in the last few days the Pro Tab feature has become unusable after upgrading to a new phone. The sound comes through distorted and unintelligible when you try to use the play along feature. Uninstalling and reinstalling has not fixed the issue. Very troubled and saddened by this. Everything else works as d.

This app can be great. I've been using it for years and still come back to it often. The issue is even if you pay, there's always something else popping up to ask you to pay for. I'm not trying to do all the extra stuff and thought paying for the full app a decade ago would rid ads. There is ALWAYS a new ad. And it is ALWAYS intrusive. This app is an example of giving a mouse a cookie. Great for beginners, great for free, don't waste your money on any ups because it keeps asking for more.

Update: No way to exit out of the Practice mode screen with selecting "try now." Things like that really annoy me. Stop pushing your new features on me, I'm just here for the tabs. Old: I don't leave many reviews, but felt compelled to after the recent updates that were made. The annoying ads are now gone and there have been multiple upgrades to the interface. I especially like that they now have a list of recently searched tabs. The changes on the website are also an improvement. Good job!

Every damn time I open this app I am forced to go through 5 or 6 screens of the "advantages of subscription", and when I finally get to reject the "offer" the app opens on the home screen and doesn't direct me to the tab/chord screen that I originally wanted to see. If I click the link that sent me there it begins again and sets me on a deathloop. Only option is to look for the tab again through the app. Just horrible design. Most features available for free on PC are paid on smart decices...

Updates are horrible. The most recent "autoscroll" is terrible and really shows how little thought was put into its implementation. If the page just scrolls it's fine, but now it's waiting for chords that it won't ever hear me play because I am intentionally not playing the original composition. If you add a new "AI enhanced" terrible feature, at least have the common decency to make it optional. Had they asked any actual musicians before implementation, this issue would have been raised.

i loved this app for 2 years, but the latest new "features" are terrible and you cant disable. it does its own thing with auto-scrolling based on what it thinks you want. so difficult to use, not friendly. was told my issue with the autoscroll would be raised to the developers, but nothing can be done about it now. i have a couple weeks to see if it gets any better before my subscription price goes from $24.99 to $39.99...pretty hefty increase for a less usable product :(

Brought down from 3 stars to 2 stars. The app constantly crashes. The bugs make the app unusable. Extensive list of accurate tabs, but many of the extra features don't work well. The singing feature doesn't work at all and causes the app to freeze/crash. Songs that have unsynchronized lyrics and chords. Issues getting Spotify connected. I would consider the subscription again if the developers actually make a working app.
