Pretty good so far. But I would love to see an option to adjust font size within the lessons and on the flashcards. I'm using the modern Hebrew lessons and the English font size is fine, big enough, but the Hebrew font size is much too small and it is hard to read the diacritical marks. I don't see any place in the Mango settings to adjust the font size of the language you're learning.

Been at this for a while now learning Japanese. The course is great and i retained enough to help out a lot during my first trip to Japan. It opened up a few options for me that otherwise would've remained closed. Although i think they should introduce the option for the Kanji and when they want the "polite" phrasing they need to make that indicator more visible during the reviews. All and all is when it. I should note my is thru my library so I'm .not technically paying out of pocket

A more thorough method than Duolingo, and I avoided having to pay for it through my local library. (Seriously, check the partner organizations tab when you sign up, all I had to do was put in my library card number and the monthly fee was waived.) A good selection of options, and it teaches you important basics and grammar points at the same time.

Only one week in but it has, thus far, been the most in depth language app I've tried. It gives grammar notes and explanations. It includes reading, listening and speaking. It does not include images like some of the other top apps. But, it also doesn't feel needed.

Best for learning words, pronunciation, and grammar! You hear the word/phrase you're learning at a normal pace, read it slow word by word, do normal pace again, and repeat words into new phrases throughout the lesson! It helps so much if you have trouble with auditory learning (like I do) and has helped a lot with my confidence in new languages. Plus: Audio lessons that can auto play in the car & having full access to the app with just a library card have been a major game changer! I love it! ❤️

I'm doing the Russian course, and this seems to be much better than Duolingo, though I've just started using this app. I've got a gripe, though, about the recording feature where you match your voice with a native speaker. No matter what I do, it puts a massive pause in the beginning of my recording so it's out-of-sync with the recording I'm supposed to emulate. Really frustrating, and hope it gets fixed. Edit: Figured it out, have to scroll the recording to the side. Really weird.

Omg, so when I graduated in 2012 and couldn't take language classes in school anymore (due to personal reasons I still have yet to go to college), I quickly found that the town's public library offered language learning on the library website. But you can't access it without a library card number and I moved that year. Ever since, I've been searching for an app to learn with that's as good as the one I used then. I JUST NOW found out TONIGHT that it's THIS! I'm so excited!!!

This is one of the better language apps, and I really like how lessons are structured with a bit of explanations. It's very different from Duolingo, which seemed lessons were pretty random, and I had a hard time following through as it got harder. I can also access all lessons in Mango Languages using my library card. This is a great way to learn new languages.
