Choose the app you want to antiscroll from the list. ScrollGuard will detect when you are doom-scrolling and will show you a dialog with two options:
- Stop scrolling and close the app immediately
- Wait 1 minute and continue scrolling


ScrollGuard uses Accessibility service:
- To identify doomscrolling activity, we use the Accessibility Service to detect swipe gestures

This is a great app! I was skeptical that something free would be riddled with ads. It is not! I only wish I could set individual timers for each app. Say 5 minutes before the pop-up for Facebook, 2 for Reddit, 10 for X, etc... I have them set on "chill" mode, and it gives me enough time to get my little fix and then remind myself that I should probably hop off before I waste an hour. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking a step in solving this crisis plaguing our society.

Excellent concept, poor execution. It's fantastic for those stuck in the destructive cycle of doom scrolling. However, the app does not differentiate between doom scrolling and studying. I am unable to read through an article with which I'm trying to actually study information, or read a news update, etc. There has got to be a way to avoid social media doom scrolling while maintaining normal phone usage. Even on the "chill" setting, I'm unable to read through a basic dictionary explanation.

This app is made to save our time and kill our distraction . I know it's very annoying sometime when your are studying or doing your work on Youtube and suddenly Popups block them for nothing . This app has no ads , no paid services that's why it's good for us . Thank You Developer

So far a solid app that doesn't collect any data which is great. I would really like a feature that locks the app so I can't change the settings easily.

This is exactly the app I was looking for. Th app is great & simple. Firstly, I appreciate the data privacy. Blocking short videos is nice. The main feature is the antiscroll. You can choose which apps, how strict, and how long you wait. "" is NOT a subscription. However, the app is broken, so I uninstalled it. You can't use an app for even 2 minutes on "Chill mode!"

Although I dig the concept of this app, it's rather annoying how quickly the antiscroll alert pops up, so I'm looking for a new app now. Literally, the alert pops up after 2 minutes or less, even on "Chill" mode. That's NOT chill, guys. If that gets fixed, I'd definitely consider giving it another try.

worked very good, but 24h after even though the app was enabled, it showed it doesn't have permission and didn't work anymore

This one stops you from blocking feed scroll too along with shorts and not just the shorts while letting us scroll the feed like many others do. How ever we could use the feature to customize the time we need to use for chill,strict,normal modes.
