The game itself is quite good actually and very addictive. Really enjoy the game, and even spent money on it (never happened to me before). However, as soon as you have technical difficulties, the company will NEVER answer you... they prefer adding new functionalities than correcting some existing bugs or solving some big problems making my (for example) unusable. If you are OK spending money on a game that might become unusable at some time and the company does even care.... rise of civilizations is for you!!

I had a nice time with the game but it didn't last long and it is time consuming! ROK is inequitable between noobs and strong alliances who already payed tons of money. That is the biggest problem with pay to wins... Besides, ROK is beautiful with good artwork and characters with unique lines of dia their own language. Another flaw imo, the country you choose does not mean a thing other than cosmetics. It would have been nice to have unique troops and commanders.

I installed this game because it offered a way to earn coins for another app. I made my first purchase as instructed, but the Rise of Kings receipt was extremely vague and lacked detail. I never received the coins for my purchase, and unfortunately, I can't prove which package I bought despite having a receipt with the date, order number, and dollar amount. I've made purchases in other games, both larger and smaller, without any issues. Be very cautious when making purchases in this game.

So far, I like it. Even though it's almost exactly a copy and paste of about 10000 other games, lol, the anesthetics of this one are far nicer and more enjoyable. But it's basically just like most games, a cash grab. Hitting level 10 or maybe even 11 and 12 are easy to do. Then things slow waaaaay down and it starts requiring an insane amount of resources. Which if your patient, the game gives you, but if your impatient they offer alot packs to buy lol. It is what it is, but overall a good game.

Addictive and complex while still incredibly entertaining. Not an easy game to navigate through though. It's too difficult to find the "how to's" once the original prompt with info is done. I still can't figure out what certain functions are or how to find directions for use of objects for power ups. I shouldn't have to visit an off-app community to figure out basics for the game.

Y'know what, they actually added some cool stuff recently, and early game is still fun. Late game, there's gonna be a family of clans which controls 80% of the map (if you don't they all attack you and that's the concept of "fun" for these "people"), and these families don't want to fight eachother (the most fun aspect of the game). Which makes sense. For me, losing troops means losing time. For them, losing troops means losing actual money. Game'd be ok if the people knew how to have fun.

Yet another generic pay to win style game. Initial build up with quick build times etc. But then usual builds/developments that take forever unless you have plenty of speed boosts. And a dynamic that doesn't allow you to attack other unless at a certain level, but larger players are able to attack the smallest/newest players and just spoil it eventually. And as an added bonus ... to delete the you must use customer service which apparently i can't right now because it's "after hours"

The game itself is fun although not unique. No ads which is always a huge plus. You can learn some history in a fun way. If you are playing this game through pay apps like freecash, do not bother. The first goal is do-able, the rest impossible unless you are willing to pump in some serious cash, which defeats the object playing for cash. They lure you with big cash amounts you will never make!!
