This is a fun city building game with a wide variety of modes and features, each with varying amounts of depth and complexity. It's ruined by the developers desire to maximize their cashflow at the cost of almost anything else, including good gameplay. The most recent changes to the Quantum Incursions system is a good example of that: significantly ramped up the difficulty and progression, supposedly to make it "fairer" but when observed: it's just to encourage more real money transactions.

The desktop version is pretty great. The mobile app has many issues with in-game ads, resulting in a very disappointing gaming experience. Ads take over phone functionality without permission. Non- initiated sound, even when muted. Ads are bulky, and cause lots of issues on lower bandwidth. Ads require closing four times before they actually close. 30 second ads can take minutes to complete. Mute and close buttons frequently do not function, and click through. Rewards often not granted.

This is the civilization game I've been looking for. Great game. Only 1 criticism is that some buildings are only available if you pay for diamonds. You really need to stop requiring diamonds. It's just a way to charge for a free game. It locks really good buildings and special bonuses, but diamonds cost money. Just stick with the coins and production to upgrade items in your city. It get quite frustrating. Other than that, this game is fun and entertaining.

Down to 1 star now. When I started playing there were a few well designed events. They keep adding new ones but they're reusing/reskinning the same minigames while removing the more unique and fun ones. The quest chains are also repetitive and boring. The new Rival event is a mindless money grab. It only adds a challenge until you that they will drop 1 or 2 on you during each event so you need to hoard more resources unless you want to pay your way through the entire quest chain.

Easy to play. Very addictive. Game moves as fast or as slow as you do; the pace adapts well for both casual or serious players. You can play on desktop or mobile interchangeably! Developers are very much a part of the community; constantly improving the game and running events. It's F2P and holds true there. There's no P2W element. I spent a few $ because I wanted to the game as I've been enjoying it throughly. Edit: there are optional ads but not as intrusive as I first thought.

One of the slowest and most un-rewarding games I've played. Never have enough space for new buildings, expansions are unnecessarily expensive which slows everything down even more. Production buildings hardly produce enough to keep up at any pace, residential buildings house a very small amount of people. And far too many features of the game rely heavily upon diamonds, which of course you have to pay to aquire. Don't this game if you don't plan on spending 2 years before any results.

It's turning into a big money grab. They are pushing so many aspects of the game that it's becoming overwhelming. The game now seems geared towards longtime players and those that spend money. Examples the new QI players that have been playing for years have more settlement buildings. So they speed thru the first 5 lvls before lower lvl players have a chance. They. Taking all the advances and rewards for them selves. Or you can't get top lvl event buildings any more without spending money.

Having definate issues with the ads required for incidents/quests. Constantly having to reload for either being frozen or getting the note saying 'no ads available'. I've thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, and would really appreciate something being done about these issues. They slow and frustrate gameplay continuously. I understand that bugs do arise with new developments, but when you have such a game as this with its pay or no thesis you can't have these issues continue to break up play.
