Only use this app if you have the Dexcom G6 CGM System.

Always know your glucose number and where it’s heading with the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System – approved for diabetes treatment decisions with zero fingersticks* and no calibration.

*If your glucose alerts and readings from the G6 do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.

With Dexcom G6, always know your glucose number with just a quick glance at your compatible smartphone or smartwatch. For a list of compatible devices visit www.dexcom.com/compatibility. Dexcom G6 provides real-time glucose readings as frequently as every five minutes. Dexcom G6 is approved for children age 2 and older.

The Dexcom G6 System provides personalized trend alerts right on your smart device and lets you see when your glucose levels are going too low, or too high, so you can better manage your diabetes. The Alert Schedule feature lets you schedule and customize a second set of alerts. Custom alert sounds are available, including a Vibrate-Only option on the phone for glucose alerts. The only exception is the Urgent Low Alarm, which you can’t turn off.

The Always Sound setting allows you to receive certain Dexcom CGM Alerts even if your phone sound is off, set to vibrate, or in Do Not Disturb mode. This will allow you to silence calls or texts but still receive audible CGM Alerts, including Low and High Glucose alert, Urgent Low Soon Alert, Urgent Low Alarm, and Rise and Fall Rate alerts. Always Sound is on by default. A Home screen icon shows you if your Alerts will sound or not. For safety, the Urgent Low Alarm and these alerts can’t be silenced: Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped.

In addition to the accurate performance provided by the Dexcom Sensor, you’ll receive other valuable features:

• Share your glucose data with your followers who can monitor your glucose data and trends on their compatible smart device with the Dexcom Follow app. Share and Follow functions require an internet connection.

• Quick Glance allows you to view your glucose data on the lock screen of your smart device
• A Dexcom Clarity link on the landscape trend graph lets you easily transition to the Clarity App to view more information on your glucose trends

Wear OS Integration

• Activate the Dexcom G6 watch face to quickly access your glucose information and trend graph right from your wrist
• You can view glucose alerts and alarms from your Wear OS watch

The Dexcom G6 Android App is compatible with select Android devices only. Visit Dexcom.com/compatibility for more information.

For some reason, the past 3 months. The app keeps losing the signal to the sensor. For 3 - 6 hours! I have tried all the trouble shooting. Turning off the Bluetooth and turning it back on, then having to keep restarting my phone. Then 2 hours later it works for 30 minutes out. Then it's gone again. I have even replaced the transmitter. And I haven't done a phone system update in over 6 months. But the readings are still perfext on my insulin pump. Is there something going on with the app?

Appallingly bad. Thought I'd trial the app and Dexcom 6 as I'm a Diabetes Educator and it's good to try available products. Do yourself a favour and chose a different product. It hurt to insert, its huge, the app is awful, I've been trying for two hours, can't even set it up. Will certainly not recommend to my patients, I just don't have hours to waste. Useless and have now pulled the CGM off and chucked it in the bin.

Absolute garbage, I have always used standalone apps and only installed this upon request for the convenience of my team. Discusted to see the quality of the app, lack of personalisation, no capacity for notes, no widget, screen rotation problems, and this is only in the first 6 hrs of using the app. I feel really bad for people that don't know there are better options. I have no intention of continuing use any longer then I have to. Edit- one year later and still no improvements

Need more comparability with different phones. Had to get a different phone and wasn't compatible. Too bad if certain phones aren't available to purchase

This app has so many bugs, it is unusable. Even a task as simple as going through the '' process is full of errors, eg if the system displays an auto fill prompt to the , the app throws an error and you are taken back to the app splash screen. Has occured on 2 devices. It is a truly truly awful app and experience, but I am forced into using it (rather than third party open source apps) so Dexcom will replace sensors when they fail. I would rate this zero stars if I could.

Mediocre app. The G6 sensor is great, I like not having to scan the sensor, and can see my BGL on the notification screen. But compared to the Libre app, this one is definitely clunky and more time consuming to add insulin and carbs. There's no ability to add notes about meals or doses so I'm adding this to another app (MySugr) I've had to change phones to use Dexcom, luckily a hand-me-down was available, but I'm tempted to revert back to Libre 2 for the better ing app.

1. The app always opens on the "warning screen" when first opened, and you have to select "continue to app" which is annoying. 2. Adding insulin or carbs or exercise requires at least 7 screen taps and is overly complicated. 3. The events have to be deleted rather than editing them. 4. You cannot take screenshots in the app, it just comes out as a black screen. 5. Events should be plotted on home screen BGL curve to see at a glance their effect on bgl fluctuations.

Often annoying. It's an easy to use app. It really is a bare bones app. It doesn't show anything beyond what has happened in the last 24 hours. No average BGLs; no reports or statistics on whether there is improvement. Alerts are often very annoying. It's important to know when BGLs are dropping or too high but the alerts are very intrusive after I have taken appropriate actions. For example, getting a low BGL alert while trying to sleep then eating jelly beans, yet alerts persist.
