Really like being able to record what foods I eat and also be able to write notes for my symptoms afterwards. I've just been diagnosed with IBD so trying to find trigger foods. I like that I can still navigate the app for free and I LOVE that it reminds me after each meal to record my intake. The most common foss are "locked" to prompt you to purchase the app with a monthly fee, but they do allow you to free write what you eat. For my purposes, this app works for me. But if I we're trying to track calories, this free app is not ideal.

I can't believe I haven't posted a review until now. I've been using I eat better for about 3 years. By helping keep me healthy, it has helped me keep the people I love healthy. There's an updated version that is more specific with more features. I like this simplified version better, but the developer is both meticulous and responsive to suggestions and no matter which version you choose, I think you will be very satisfied.

Far too many of the food items are . I am sorry, but features in an app need to be an the basic, NOT be required just to enjoy the basic function of the app. I installed this app to keep track of my toddler's eating. It doesn't save me any time if I have to manually create food listings for the things she eats because the existing ones are blocked. Also, why is quantity so difficult? it shouldn't be so difficult to, say eat 2 slices of toast, instead of 1.

Little hard to navigate at first but overall this app has been surprisingly fantastic! Quick, easy, and simple. You can add items that arnt in its files, chose if you wanna take a pic or not, and chose if you even want to add calories n stuff or if you wanna just record what you eat. If you do chose to add calories it also keeps track for you. Without any of the fancy fluff in the way. Over all my new favorite food diary app and SEVERALLY under rated

Generally happy. I like the simplicity and can add my own foods and recipes. I especially like the ability to export my journal entries, a feature lacking in almost every other app I've checked. What I don't like is the lack of a scanning feature and sometimes when choosing a food to journal, changing the amount can be bothersome. Seems to be some double entries in the foods database. Would like an easy manage system to clean it up.

I just did the free version and I like it, especially how it shows links online for the items you put in so you can easily find more info. I am going to uninstall though because a lot of the items I wanted to enter are locked for the free version or not there at all. You can however enter anything you want and adjust the calories accordingly. Overall good app, just not what I needed.

It looks great at just till the moment you start using it. I wanted some food diary with not only classic nutritional values (fat, carbs, fiber...), but also to track my vitamin intake. But... - If you wanna sign you cannot without trying 7 days trial. Why? - Far too many food is locked. - It's not possible to save custom food. Every time you have to fill it again. That's really stupid. - UI is buggy, not very well tested. (Invisible sliders, button outside of the screen...)

I had the version of this app on my W10 phone and was initially pleased to see it here when I moved to Android. Whilst the bones of the app are the same (though no dark mode, unfortunately), the cost of buying/subscribing to the app is too high. I can put up with banner ads and am happy to add my own food details, but the update on March 6th has added full page video ads that you have to watch for 5secs before you can skip. I had 2 of them in 1 session, that kills the app for me.
