Getting buggier every week. Replacement for BeyondPod, bur I've never gotten the auto and auto playlist to work even once. I have to refresh manually and add episodes one at a time. It's constantly telling me to take it off the Optimized app list, and it has never been on it. It would, usually once every hour or two, skip backwards 20 or 30 seconds. Now it's jstopping after a minute or two and I have to keep resuming playback. Devs, this is not rocket science. I paid for this.

Great app with lots of features such as iTunes search engine. Fave feature is automatic rewind a few seconds when pressing pause then play. Very handy if you have a button on your headphones as it saves having to pull out the phone when you miss something. The search feature is very useful for finding particular episodes. 2024 update: still no other podcast app comes close. Seems like a very dedicated team is making sure to make the best possible podcast app they can.

Great app. I used Beyond Pod for more than a decade but was forced to move once it was no longer ed. Podcast Addict has most of the great BeyondPod features. The interface is easy. It searches well for new podcasts. Gives you lots of control about how episodes are ed, played & viewed. 2 suggestions: - I would like to be one click / swipe away from the playlist at all times. - Show Episode dates when older than a month. Thanks 4 the listening.

I have ended up here after the death of Google podcasts. It's much, much better than YouTube Music and Prime Music. If I'm being picky, it could be easier to change the order of your playlist / queue and also it's not always obvious how to search all podcasts rather than the ones you subscribe to. Having said that it's fantastic having my RSS feeds back in one place.

Great app with just about every feature you can think of. Just wish there was a desktop app that could sync with the mobile app. I switch back and forth too much to have to manually find the episode of each show and my progress within. Edit 11/18, episodes keep skipping around and either repeating parts or skipping sections and cutting off episodes. Hard to keep using.

Not a bad app. Everything seemed to work proper. Scrolling bar on wrong side ...would choose scrolling when clicking eps options alot and would never grab scrolling bar on purpose. Only thing in whole app that didn't work perfectly. Allows for ing automatically good setting options for that. Pretty much of pick your podcasts set up your setting preferences and it will do the rest. Check out "Space Nuts" podcast if you want accurate non click bait astronomy news. Call it my show.

Due to the player randomly stopping all the time on my previous phone, I switched to cast box. Unfortunately cast box is terrible. So I switched back to podcast addict for my current temp phone and it has the same problem of the player randomly stopping. Hopefully that won't be an issue on my new Note 9 coming next week or I may need to look for a new app again. Updated review since they helped me solve the issues I was having at that time

Almost all great. Like the categories, like freedom to organise podcasts and playlists, like the playback history and ability to hide completed episodes. But... podcasts with dynamic ads continue to skip back a few mins at some point during the episode and can then cut off before the end.
