Been using this app for years and love it. Audio quality is amazing. Friends of mine and I record our farts and poops audio and send them to each other. (No BS, we actually do this) Mine sounds better than the other guys who are using something else to record with. On top of that, the ability to share with each other is easy as is renaming the files. I also use it for work.voice notes.

I've had this app for many years and I keep it because I so appreciate it. I use it heavily at times, then I don't need it for a while. It works even smoother today than the old versions I started with. File sizes remain manageable, audio quality is great, it is easy to use. The one reason I chose this app was I needed a recorder that automatically paused when all was silent. I still find that very useful.

This is the best recording device I've ever had. I've had many now. What I want to say is this if you put the recording device on and then you actually minimize it to the point where you still can see it and then after that you swipe out of it completely. Now nobody can see that the recording is still occurring, which is quite remarkable actually. So now what that means is even if your phone is not turned off or shut down completely. But it's just the screen is blank. Your rec. Is confidential.

It just works. Audio is always clear and reliable. EDIT- Perfect except for one minor thing. I've lost count of the number of times I've finished a recording and set the name of the file, only to hit the back button instead of enter and have the rename lost in the process. Would love for this to be changed or able to be changed via a dedicated setting.

With some calibration in the adjustment menu, this is more than adequate for clear recording indoors, whether it's merely speech, or loud live music. Outdoors, it's different. Despite some efforts in modern recording apps that capably for wild conditions, the phone mic may be impeded by mild weather and soft breezes. Also, it's taxing to tune the settings decently for every single condition. Considering this, it still gets 5 stars for keeping the function and layout simple and neat.

Interface is easy on the eyes; ads are unintrusive; sample rate goes up to 44,100 even without paying money. I don't even use it for the skip-silence feature--this is just the most pleasant voice recording app I've been able to find on the Play Store. (As a sound designer, I do wish the volume control were easier to access and use. But who am I to fault a general-purpose app for not meeting specialist needs?)

This is the best app if you need to record sound. There is ads, but they dont interfere with the app. And it's FREE! If you're a musician and don't want to forget your new riff or a composition, it's perfect. Or a journalist that needs to record a conversation, also it can be as long as you need. Plus, you can record and listen while using the phone. Other sound recorder apps, you have to wait for an add or 2 every time you use a different option. Love it! Thanks to the creators. Peace ✌️
