Samsung Voice Recorder is designed to provide you an easy and wonderful recording experience with high quality sound, while also offering playback and editing capabilities.For your everyday needs, we developed a “Voice Memo” recording mode so that you can convert your voice to text (Speech to text).
Available recording modes are:
[STANDARD] It provides pleasantly simple recording interface.
[INTERVIEW] Two microphones located on the top and bottom of your device will be activated to capture you and your interviewer (or interviewee)'s voices, it also displays dual waveform accordingly.
[VOICE MEMO] Records your voice and then convert it to on-screen text, so called STT.
Before starting the record, you may configure

During recording,
□ You can reject incoming calls while recording.
□ BOOKMARK the points you want to mark.
□ Background recording is also ed by simply pressing HOME button.
Once saved, these actions below can be performed:
□ Both mini player and full player can be launched from Recordings LIST.
* Built-in sound player s media controls such as Skip muted, play speed and Repeat mode.
□ Edit: Rename and Delete
□ Share your recordings with your friends via Email, Messages, etc.

I have always loved the simplicity and usefulness of this default recorder. I loved how we can easily bookmark points in the recording and make corresponding notes. However, the latest update of the app erased all my notes. Over 60 one-hour recordings with notes all gone. I'm just left with the bookmarks. I'm flabbergasted. Please tell me how can I get my notes back. Update: The version 21.5 (24 Jun update) brought back all my notes in the bookmarks. I'm a happy girl again :)

The app intermittently forgets category assignment to recordings as well as bookmarks. So say you favorite some recordings, one day you might open it up and all the recordings you had favorited, are no longer so. It's incredibly frustrating, and my heart drops every time it happens. This issue is permanent too, the assignments do not come back on their own. I have ed the developers, and they have still not fixed this issue.

I used to have no problem with this app, worked fine for recording meetings etc. However, in addition to the disruption of ads cutting you off just when you need to hit record or pause, now there are ads that cut in when I try to open ANY file. I get it, you need to run ads, fine, run them when I first open the app. Now, when I try to open my old recordings, an ad plays, then the app freezes completely, meaning I can no longer access ANY of my recordings, making this app USELESS.

I am, as a musician, very disappointed with this app. There are very limited choices here, particularly in relation to speed. Infact there are no choices. I have some friends with, what appears to be the same app and they have many controls including speed adjustments. On my S21 Samsung I don't even havexthe '3 dot' choices. I slso do not want to loose the recordings I have made. Áine.

I began recording 2 separate recordings for an event and when I decided to listen to it, no audio was actually captured. Meanwhile, a couple of days ago, it worked fine. For context, my s24 ultra has had issues with the charging port & sim card reader but, that's no reason for the audio not to record. Especially since it was able to record the audio a few days ago. On another note, I also took video recordings of the event and the audio worked fine in the video. Only using this app audio no work

This is a great app I've been using for so long. But recently I recorded a voice which was about 2 hours and I'm sure that I saved it. But now I see that only the last 13 minutes is saved. Can I recover that voice? (I've recorded 3 hour long voices too and I never had a problem. It was the first time. My memory wasnt that much full too i have no idea why this happened.) I'll be glad if you help me with it. The voice was important for me. Thank you.

Did a really nice job recording as needed for certain projects but it started recording voice messages that came in or that were left for other people on their machines and I can't seem to turn it off. No information out there so I'm going to try to find a different recorder if I can't get somebody to help me figure out why that's happening. I do not want voice messages that come in or the messages that I leave other people recorded.

What's going on with this app?? I just opened it to record me reading a story and it opens to "interview mode" and tells me I have to unplug my microphone to use it. I don't want to use interview mode, and want to use my mic, but there doesn't seem to be any way to cancel the interview mode and just do a regular voice recording, so currently this app is utterly useless to me. I hope this is fixed very soon.
