Junk. Got openfit earbud set les than a year ago. Right one stopped working, first delivering tiny zaps to my ear, then no sound at all, and wouldn't light up. When I refreshed in the app, the system stopped connecting to my phone altogether, so I can't even use the left one only. Have tried 8 times to get help from customer service. Useless and insulting

New: Sound stops after wifi<=>mobile switch & other scenarios. I must restart my OpenRun Pro to restore sound. | May'24: Re-installation restored connection, so rating back up to 4*. [+] Best feature: precise battery reading; I can stop charging at 80% to limit battery wear. Could add: notification when Shokz battery hits custom levels (e.g., 20% <=> 80%); a widget showing current battery level; more audio mix presets; adjustable beep volume.

As a contractor, this has been the best experience. With being able to listen music, listen to customers without taking buds out or sweating with muffs on. But also being able to hear what else is going on in the background in my environment has been a ton of help. Fast charging for hours of use is amazing.

Button controls for playback work intermittently for pro mini model since last update on 4/17/24 (with samsung galaxy s24, all updates from 4/17 to now). Button control is least responsive when my phone display is asleep. Bug fixes would be greatly appreciated. I would like to be able to answer calls and change volume while running without taking out my phone again. Thanks!

Wish there were more control customization such as triple tap or single tap controls, the open fits feel like a downgrade in accessibility because my controls are limited to four things. Plus I would rather have double tap left and right as my previous/next buttons and hold to play/pause but that is not an option for some reason. I hate to be critical because I love the brand, but I really hope the controls become more customizable, because like I said, the open airs almost feel like a downgrade

I have the OpenSwim Pro Shokz and this gives control over just about everything you could ask for. There's no more fumbling with buttons to switch into different modes like MultiPoint Pairing or moving between Bluetooth and MP3 Mode. It also gives access to an EQ and button customization. The only downside is it doesn't work with all Shokz models and it doesn't give access to internal storage to make changes to stored files. All I all this app is a great addition to the Shokz headphones!!

The app cannot find the OpenFit device if you have "Sound Assistant" from Goodlock (Samsung) installed. The app idles in "Still Searching" if ed. Took me about 2 hours to figure this out, so hopefully this helps others. Sound quality is great, and the equalizer option is fantastic since my hearing is terribly sensitive to higher frequencies. I'm also a trade worker, so I need to be aware of my surroundings on sites, and this is far more preferred than noise canceling earbuds.

I do not want to share my location for a 'language' selection, make a drop down menu like everyone else. It is beyond inappropriate to be asking for this type of personal information, especially after dropping $200 for a product. Edit: after looking though the setting options (with a GPS spoofer) they do have a menu for selecting language. And it overrides the 'location' selected language, almost like living in one country does not deside the language you feel most confident using.
