As the Merchant, you are the commander of your own domain!
Blending together traditional RPG systems, management mechanics, and a fantasy overworld, Merchant aims to reimagine the traditional mobile RPG. In Merchant, players take the role of a shopkeeper who must manage a team of Heroes and Crafters. Heroes are sent out on quests in order to fight enemies and gather materials. Crafters then use those materials to create weapons and armor. As the shopkeeper, players must balance their micro-economies between selling items for gold and crafting items to better ensure success for the Heroes.

I honestly can't count the hours I've spent playing this game. I have stopped several times and I always go back to it because it's just plain good. The cloud save makes it easy to transfer from phone to phone or even to your computer. The in app purchases are completely optional but add a lot of content if you feel you've finished the game (they are permanent upgrades) and the community online is always ready to help if you have any questions.

Honestly very disappointed at the state of the game. Played the game in beta and had a blast. Once full release came, the devs consistently soft locked the progress behind "Community goals." These goals unlock little to no real progression. You would have to wait at least a week before anything was released that allowed you to craft better gear for your characters. The inventory system is terrible. You get enough space to hold like 60% of the items available in the game so it's a chore to manage

Probably one of the best indie mobile games I've played. 20/10 , craft, send your heroes on missions. Very nice and calming experience, and the pixel graphics, for a change, are beautiful. Love you guys and the effort you put into this

Played the heck outta this game and was a great experience all around. Very fun, and super addictive. Especially if you don't mind UI games. Lacking in animation, but makes up for it in amazing heart. Can't wait for the official release of merchant guilds to see how it stacks up.

Fix the issue with me not being able to start another save and I'll make it five again cause that's the only problem! Still love this game! It's like I get to make all the stuff I use in RPGS.

Finally "finished" the game. In quotes because I don't like the direction it went. I bought every dlc got 16 heroes P2 with grimhal P1. I finally could prestige the scribe and my disappointment was enourmous when I found out that P1 grimhal gear was better than P2 tuvale. Farming all the professions until I can get an upgrade is far from my definition of fun. P2 gear should be superior to all P1 gear. But to get P2 you should have full P1. The game is "dead" no updates so big RIP. Was fun.

A delightful call to the past game combing the best parts of farming and item creation, with rpg and battle elements. It's fun. Low commitment. But in my group of friends there are six of us playing and everyone has done wildly different things and focused on different elements of the game. I spend too much time with mock outbursts about how a particular character of a class can do nothing, but for my friend it is his premiere character. Expansions, worlds and item creation makes this great!

It's good, and I like that it feels like a normal game instead of a cash grab. I do really wish there was a way to start over. I feel like I made a few mistakes on this run that I can't go back and redo now that I've learned how to play better. It slowed down my gameplay later on because I didn't realize certain items were necessary and sold them and now going back to grind them is taking a long time. So yeah, my suggestion would be either a new save or a wipe save button.
