+ The sweet fades feature is amazing. + Lossless . + Equalizer. + No ads. + Offline playback. - I cannot cast songs from my Plex server if I have ed a copy of them to my local phone (I guess it is trying to cast from my phone storage instead) which means I can't cast my favorite songs since they are all ed locally for offline playback. - I don't like that my playlist is split between Back To and Up Next. This makes it harder to find tracks at a glance.

TLDR - It's the bomb! I've been a Plex for years, but never really used the large music library on my server until PlexAmp came along and gave me a useful interface to access it. I absolutely love it! Cache your jams on your Wi-Fi and head out. PlexAmp delivers all your music with none of the nonsense. Can still fetch tracks over cellular, but PlexAmp puts you in control. Sound profiles for tons of earbuds, headphones, and other devices to optimize your listening experience? Sweet!

I am constantly disappointed by this app but the minor annoyances weren't enough for me to bother writing a review. Today, the app worked on my commute but when I went to listen at lunch, the app had signed me out and deleted ALL of my local audio files. (This is media that was ed "to device" so I didn't use data when not on Wi-Fi). All gone. It is also terrible at storing track progress. I have been fighting with it for months. I've confirmed settings on my server, and in the app.

Really good interface and library options. It really needs a better way to make a mix on the fly, though. Like Jellyfin, where you can browse through your library and add tracks/albums to a shuffled mix by long-pressing and adding them via a popup menu. The current system requires you to type those things in, which isn't really how people think about putting a daily mix together. Browsing is the much superior approach. Please add this feature!

The app works great for the most part. I love the build your own mix feature to make queues of a particular vibe without having to make a playlist. But casting with this app SUCKS. It looks ugly up on a big screen and the music inexplicably pauses every three to four songs. I have to use Symfonium to cast my Plex music library to the TV to play through my stereo system instead of using Plexamp which is great in every other situation. Please fix!

I love it! It's basically the perfect music player for Android. I would say the experience is better than iTunes, and probably better if you consider that it's cross platform. It's the only music player I use now. If I had to nitpick, I'd like the ability to distinguish libraries as music or audiobooks, just so that I can automatically have audiobooks play at a faster playback speed, without it affecting my music playback.

The app is functional, but not exceptional. I recently swapped over from having all my music on my phone with VLC, because it kept deleting the multi-thousand song playlists I spent hours on (reasons, regarding me, sleep and people) I enjoy not having to worry about saving to my phone, but there are just a couple of small downgrades that make the experience more annoying and clunky. Such as android auto playback functionality, lack of queue count, and limited sorting. (More but 500 chars)

great experience. the one thing I wish it would do is link the ed music to the library, so that if I search for something from the library and select it there it will detect the ed copy and play that instead of streaming it. I don't like being locked to a simple list screen to exclusively access ed media, I keep a lot of it ed and would like to use the organization of the library to access it
