The Bible In Basic English (BBE) is a translation of the Bible into Basic English. The BBE was translated by Professor S. H. Hooke. In an effort to simplify and make easy to understand the text he and his team limited the vocabulary to the standard 850 Basic English words. 100 words that were helpful to understand poetry were added along with 50 "Bible" words.

The Bible in Basic English strives to simplify the Bible so that more people worldwide can read and understand the text. By using the Basic English vocabulary, this goal is accomplished. The BBE is certainly straightforward and simple.

It's a good application that helps spreading the word of God How ever I hate that there are ads within the application. I think an application for a bible should not have any ads but content only related to the bible

Actually, I ire this bible application because it's very simple and well communicative in words and in usage of expression. But, one more thing I want the manufacturer to incorporate is bible study guide and daily timetable for studying!

Put all the verse yous have deleted out of the word of God back in there, or you can delete your entire app. Leave the bible how it was written. I cannot believe yous have the courage to take out verses from the bible just because you think it might offend someone or might not be politically correct. The word of God will never change no matter what. May God have mercy upon you and us all. TIME TO DELETE YOUR BIBLE APP.
