I really want to love this app and will continue to try but we've used it 10 times now and have yet to get a correct complete map. Most are from human error and no fault of the ap but each time we do mark and start/stop appropriately the lines on the map are not accurate despite waiting for the green go ahead for the GPS signal. Using for beginning level so maybe it is more accurate on full length tracks. Will give it a few more tries and update review If it changes anything.

I used a Garmin GPS for years of tracking and tested several dog tracking apps. I have settled on DogTracks as my favorite, especially for laying a track. It tracks total track length and individual leg lengths (if I mark the corners.) Beginning students find the app easy to use and useful. DogTracks continues running when I use camera and com apps. All my tools are at my fingertips. I just ed version 3.0 and look forward to seeing its improvements.

I've only just ed this and tested on a very short track, but it looks very promising. Good to have instructions and the ability to change between metric and imperial. And the ability to share tracks. What would be fantastic, is if it could be Bluetoothed to a GPS dog tag on my dog to get the actual track my dog runs.

Millions of companies, craftsmen and independent professionals around the globe thrive just fine by selling their products, and they have to maintain, develop and improve them, too. There is no reason why consumers should be expected to pay programmers a salary just because it is on a digital platform. Instead of milking the same customers forever, build software that sells. It worked beautifully before the update. I went to the tutorial and set my phone up for the update. It's useless now. It drops the GPS even if I hold the phone away from me while laying the track. I loved it so much before.

The app since upgrade keeps shutting down when I try to record a track! Can you fix. I'm using Android.

Not as accurate as I hoped for. If I stand still, it zigzag all over the place for about 20 yards. Plus I thought that this ap had a place to note wind and temperature. I haven't found that yet. Any help with this would be appreciated.
