I guess it's not fully compatible with this Pixel 7A phone. It's happy to operate as a straight-up metronome, but so far my attempts to create patterns by enabling or disabling individual subdivisions have no effect. If there's some setting needed to get it creating specific patterns, beyond simply switching particular subdivisions on and off, that isn't the least bit clear in the interface (I don't see any actual online help). So...it just runs as a metronome. Too bad.

Update. Hit an issue with sub folders. Creating a sub folder is fine but when I move a song to it the app crashes, leaving no folder when relaunching. Running on my OnePlus 6. Android 11, OxygenOS 11.1.2.2. Galaxy A52 5G work phone does not exhibit this issue. - Still happy though and this is a minor irritant. This is the best ad free metronome app I've found. It's ideal for gigs, where I feed it through the mixer and route to my IEM. Still finding my way round it a little but so far so good.

I have only installed Metronomous a few minutes ago, but it already feels like the app I've needed. So grateful for ad-free; I'll be looking at SE edition! (I had a different metronome on my phone for a couple years, and suddenly annoying ads constantly. But I'm glad I switched, as this one is clearly an "upgrade"!)

Great for practicing dance! I really like that it lets you emphasize certain notes in every bar. So for example my dance (West Coast Swing) has a rolling triple. 1--a2---1--a2. That fact that I can tell it to play the first "a" and not the second "a" is so amazingly helpful that I bought the 3 dollar "er" version even though its identical to the free one! The best by far and it looks great too!

This is an excellent metronome app. It's not too complicated, but it has some nice features like the ability to save profiles (tempo, pattern and sounds) and to select different sounds for strong and weak beats. It's not as pretty as others that are made to look like clockwork metronomes, but it does its job really well.

I've tried dozens of metronome apps and only this one has everything that I need. You can use it as a simple 4/4 metronome with or without accent (it is hilarious how difficult it is to find metronome app with such a basic function as switchable accent), or you can use it to make some really odd beats to practice the difficult parts that you're learning. And last but not least, I'm using it for more than a year and didn't noticed any beat lag. 5🌟

Fabulous in a standard practical way, does what you need with extra bars to create rhythmic variations and can save these. Awesome. But, could have: 1. a file share system over message 2. a basic sound recorder to listen back (headset only) 3. value acoustic sound samples for more pleasant listening 4. a variation in skins

A good metronome is a hard master; this is indeed a fairly good one. Pleased with the extra timing features (I'm used to an old-fashioned mechanical metronome), and relatively pleased with the ease with which it can be configured. It's well worth reviewing the settings on first use; not all the defaults suited me, for instance. Thanks are due to the developer for a response to an enquiry.
