My wife and I like to use it for out more private communications since it eliminates the risk of kids accidentally reading them or us accidentally texting something to the wrong person (it happens!). My only complaint is that, while it sends photos and video, it doesn't do gifs well. My wife and I use gifs a LOT, so adding this feature would be a much appreciated improvement.

UPDATE: Previously, I gave this app 5 stars. I've since had to deduct a few stars for two reasons: 1. Sticker Options: This is a smaller grievance, but it is a disappointment that there are no longer any sticker options for the other characters. It's something I've reached out about multiple times and have not gotten an answer. 2. Delayed Notifications: On a more serious concern, there are instances of delayed notifications on a daily basis—multiple times a day—up to several hours long.

The app had great potential but it lacks important features. First, the voice messages are really low in quality, please fix the audio. Second, we can't edit or delete messages. Third, the app keeps asking about mice permission the moment I open it, without the need to record anything. Fourth, recording voice messages should be in one click rather than steps. Fifth, I cant forward, choose a time frame or speed up the voice messages sent to me. Sixth, playing a voice message resets when I text.

My partner and I have used this for years but recently have notice all kinds of issues. We stopped receiving notifications unless we unlocked our phones. Thought we had that fixed but we're back to getting spotty notifications and when we do, the app isn't updating to show recent activity. Sometimes force closing the app helps, but not always. Might be time to find a new solution. I also wish this one had a shared list option like the previous app we used.

my partner and I have used this app for almost 10 years (maybe a bit more?) I'm so attached to it for its functions and cute characters! I only wish it would always work better for us/: Message notifications are iffy, and I constantly find myself having to check the chat area for messages instead of relying on receiving notifications. There are also times we can't rely on it for messaging as one partner may not be receiving messages at all.

A step above the rest. normally I wouldn't even rate an app, Especially one that requests it. But this app has been great. It's adorable enough for my wife and practical enough for me. It's more reliable than most of the other apps we have tried and the extra little features, like the slideshow, have created some really sweet moments that I wouldn't have been able to share with my wife otherwise. (dropping 5 to 4 since it keeps asking for a rating even after I rated.)

It's a messaging app for you and your partner. Aside from that, it has the absolute cutest emojis ever, a gif feature, shared calender, and tons of other adorable and fun functions. I love it to death. Edit in the hope that developers see this: above recommendation totally still stands, but the animation and overall quality of the newer stickers has taken a real dive. The concepts are still there, but the artwork and animation? It's bad.

This is a very cute and useful couples app, with chat, notes, and photo, video, and gif sharing. Purchasing a hip is not neccesary for all the major features of the app. My SO and I have been using sinec the Couple app stopped working and it makes a good replacement. It would however be great if it had a list or checklist feature as well. Other than that it is great.
