A lot more nerdy options than other apps, but one thing I'm finding out about dating apps is it'd be really freaking helpful if they would track and show how long it's been since a person logged in. It sucks trying to message a person and not knowing if it's an old/dead . Being able to search by interest without having to pay is great. Incentivizing making posts when it's supposed to be for introverts is not so great.

It's asking me to rate this app. Pretty average so far. At least better than tinder. Edit: Was upset at first that there wasn't really a way to make coins, but somehow ai have gained around 1000 more. My tip: just send a message if you think you and a person would really click. Why wait until the algorithm matches you if you can just reach out. It's limited via coins unfortunately 🪙. I've only been using boo for a short period of time, but I LOVE the approach! It's really difficult to make personal connections on other apps, plus there tend to be lots of fake profiles. But not with boo!! It makes it so much easier to find more relatable people and make meaning connections!

Just ed but I love the quiz you can take to see compatible personalities. Only thing I've noticed that I don't like so far is that it shows people outside of my range (age and distance)- but that could be because they liked my profile before I found the filters. Edit: As soon as I got through the first few out of range, it showed who I was looking for. Bumped the 4 star to a 5. I also like how it limits the number of swipes a day. It limits screen time and I'm less likely to burn out.

Boo is a great app for introverted people and extroverted people as well. The set up is friendly and not intimidating. While there a paid feature, and they do promote it, they aren't shoving it down your throat. And they have a good handle on the scamming game. I would suggest an easy to find guide to explain how to navigate the app. Only reason its not 5.

Seems like it could be very great, but the learning curve is a bit steep for the newcomers with the UI. Making the experience a little rough with a small or limited people pool to increase confidence and familiarity using the app. While I do think ppl should try it out. I hope the developers view this and are able to help make this app more popular so we can see where this app can take us all!!

The app has an engaging and unique UI. The personality test is interesting and produces consistent results. The quasi-social media part is decent, but global and can't be tailored to a local audience. However, there seem to be few local s to interact with which makes one wonder - why should they pay for more features when there are seemingly so few potential matches to use the extra features with? Update: 14+ ways to filter, but no need to because there are NO local matches.

Out of the dating apps I've tried here, this is definitely one of the better ones. It's a little limited in of how many people it lets you match with or not in one day(at least without paying for a subscription) but what it does let you have is full featured, you aren't limited in how many messages you can send. The only downside is you can't respond to likes unless you happen to come across them and like them back, or if you have a subscription. Could use a LITTTLE more in the free versio
