Offline Switch is an easy-to-use app which includes three widgets to enable, disable or toggle airplane mode easily.

This app can execute commands (enable/disable/toggle offline mode) from other apps, e.g. Tasker. Use the following configuration for Tasker (New Task > System > Send Intent):

Toggling airplane mode by apps is usually not allowed/ed by Android 4.2 and newer. Therefore this app requires root permissions for Android 4.2 and newer! If you don't know what this means, please do not install this app!
